Jubilee was recommended to my wife and I by several different people as a must when in NYC, and with good reason. The food itself is wonderful (especially the seafood), but the main act is the staff and atmosphere. By far the best service I have had, ever. The staff was so far ahead of us on what we would need we were able to really sit back and enjoy the vibe. And if you are ever curious about something or need a recommendation, ask. I am 99% sure everyone there could plan out a night for you just by looking at you. Truly impressive.
The outdoor was ok just like the inside. They need a better French bistro style kind of feel. Staff was friendly & attentive. There is always room for improvement. The food was great. Good presentation & portions. Great wine list. Reasonable prices.
Jubilee is a warm and welcoming restaurant. Nice atmosphere and a friendly and professional staff. The menu is superb! My favorites are the tuna tartare and the sea scallops with orzo, porcini sauce and Parmesan. They also have great fries to accompany their mussels. Would recommend for a relaxed evening.
I look for restaurants that have Dover Sole Meunière in their menus, so I found Jubilee. It's a French restaurant on 1st Ave & 52 Street.
The Dover Sole Meunière was very delicious; I really liked it. But it's the attentiveness of the host and the server that completed the experience for me. I asked for a booth and I was given a booth in a hospitable manner. That got me to feel comfortable in the place!
I also ordered the Duo of French White and Green Asparagus upon the server's recommendation. It's from the daily specials, and it was pleasing to my eyes as well as tasty.
I wish the butternut squash soup didn't have chicken broth and the fish soup didn't contain alcohol! (Hopefully, they read my review and make the changes)
Still, I highly recommend this restaurant for its ambience, service, and the Dover Sole Meunière!
We arrived within 30 minutes of the end of the prix fixe but our server made sure we had enough time to review the menu and get our order in for the deal. Service was really good throughout the night.
I had the pâté and mussels in dijon sauce. My friend had the same mussels and the apple tart. The bread on the table was a bit dry, the pâté was fine but not great; The mussels were good but I didn’t like the dijon sauce with the mussels as much as I normally love dijon; the fries were perfect! The apple tart was ok also but it tasted like they drizzled Hershey’s syrup instead of a good chocolate.
Overall a solid experience.
This place has an amazing French vibes of the 18th century. Love the interior style. The food I would rate 4 but in overal great experience. I like the Vine menu list which is big enough and the prices are fair. Amazing service and friendly stuff.

Waiters was very nice. Food was good. Dessert was amazing.
Great atmosphere with fantastic food. The mussels were amazing though we only tried one flavor. Service was great, they checked on us constantly and filled out wine glasses before we could get to them.
Excellent meal. I had mussels and fries. My wife had the chicken. Both were classic French bistro entrees and well done. Service was flawless. Go there regularly and will continue to do so.
Took my wife there for her birthday. Sam our waiter was amazing. He'ade some delicious food recommendations but I love all types of food but it was simply amazing food. Gotta get escargot and mussels. Their Pan-Seared Foie Gras was super tasty with apple pie fillings. Is the perfect compliment. Didn't take any tickets because we have to go back there again soon. Also not too expensive of a meal for such delicious food
