It's typically packed in the café yet they have 2 stories so you can get a table entirely quick. Incredible korean nourishment. I love the seared fish that accompanies the tofu soup suppers. Fish tofu soup is an unquestionable requirement attempt.

Omg the galbi 🤩 so in love!

Galbi is favorite the tofu is nice too. Quite pricey, tho. But kinda worth it.

I have to wait for 25 minutes to get a seat. They provide you with a little electronic device if youre on the waiting list so that you can still wandering around without missing your turn.

This restaurant was the final one I ate in while staying in Korea Town, and it was really very good. Again a bit more than I would liked to have paid, but the taste was excellent. This is the one restaurant I would go back to.

The fish as starter was delicious. So many options or varieties of sun du boo. Service is excellent. I asked for extra broth and asked them if i could have my soup reheated and the lady said yes pat of service.

Just went for dinner and really liked it, will be back for sure!

Definitely order a combo, it is plenty of food and really yummy! You get a small fried fish, a good sizzling large bowl of your choice of tofu soup (you choose the level of spice), then get the dish - I got fried tofu, served on a delicious salad, and we also got ribs, and shared it all! Comes with a sauce, kimchi, seaweed, raw egg to out in soup and rice!!

It was a lot, but is is well done and is not heavy, but nicely satisfying!

The place is packed (with Koreans, a good sign) but the wait was not too long. And worth it. The restaurant itself is nothing to talk about deco wise, but it is inexpensive and worth it.

Will be back!

We were lucky we had a friend who could speak to the server and get us the food which was amazing to taste. I had no skills in using a chopstick which was surprisingly made of metal and I noticed that it becomes more tough to deal with. The food was so yum that we didnt leave any trace behind and gobbled up whatever was coming on the table. The beef stew was something I really liked and a new experience in eating fish with chopsticks was unusual but fun. P.S.- I used rubberband at the back of the chopsticks to make it easy to eat.

Hunting for a late night dinner spot, we found BCD Tofu House. It was one of several Korean restaurants on West 32nd Street that was open 24 hours. The speciality here is tofu stew which is available in different varieties. I chose the kimchi tofu stew with meat while my friend ordered the seafood tofu stew. Both stews were good with a generous amount of ingredients. The array of banchan (side dishes) was impressive and came with two raw eggs to crack into the boiling hot soup. We were also served small bowls of plain white rice in some water (in addition to full bowls of rice to go with the stew) - we weren't sure what this was for. The restaurant was spacious and clean. Service was acceptable though it was sometimes difficult to catch the attention of the staff. Overall, we enjoyed dinner.

Standard Korean comfort food. Appetizer pancake is well worth a try, soon tofu is decent. Staff are attentive and quick to respond to requests or recommend a dish.

The service was fantastic. well staff and got my orders quick. Always noticed my empty water cup and refilled it quickly. I ordered a pork jeyuk which was a pork belly stir-fry and it came with a tofu soup. they're well known for their tofu so that was good. the stir-fry was a bit off in the way that it had too much sauce it was quite overwhelming. it was fried with cabbage which took up a lot of space too. side dishes were nice. not exemplary but it's pleasant. lunch time is cheaper by 1 dollar compared to the dinner prices.

Visited in Aug 2023 Really popular Korean dining place and you should expect a queue during dinner time, but it moves fast. This place exemplifies the phrase ‘good food at reasonable prices’. We ordered a couple of shared plates and each of us also ordered our own entree dish. Everything was well prepared and we also enjoyed the complementary side dishes (which come along with the entree/main dish). Service was fast and efficient. Really nice restaurant overall and definitely a place to try out if you’re in NYC

Everything here was so delicious and flavorful. They were really great and explaining some of the things that came complementary when we had no idea what they were. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you got as well.

The food here is awesome. The presentation, the service, and the atmosphere were top tier. I really enjoyed their tofu soup. It's super light but savory at the same time. The fish they served was interesting but enjoyable. Overall great food for the price you pay!

Never disappointing us. Love this place. Everyone is nice and friendly. Service is fast. Quality of food always great and stable. My favourite is Soft tofu soup with Oysters or Seafood. I love the seasonal dish of baby octopus bibimbap, you should keep this on your menu. They quite generous on the side dishes (banchan), if you are finish, they will offer for more. Keep up with the good service like this.

BCD has been a regular Korean tofu soup spot for me for years in Ktown. I like that their ban Chan always comes with a fried fish, other places do not do so. I remember when I was living down in Georgia and all the Korean restaurants had the fried fish for their banchans so it became a thing for me. I don’t love this place but I do not dislike them, it’s a spots where you go regularly for a quick bite and satisfy your craving. This last visit though, I did noticed a significant change in their services. Everyone from bus boys to cashiers are very friendly/courteous and attentive, the server even refilled all the banchans without requesting for any. I truly believe that these days, us consumers are not asking for too much, but friendliness from staffs, fresh ingredients and above average flavor for a good dinning experience. Not sure why it has became such a hunt to find one. I would recommend this place, quick sitting for a party of 2-3 people.

Five stars on a value price curve. It's not gourmet but the food is authentic and consistent. I usually get the sondubu - which is great. The staff will bring you seconds on the bon chon.

Such a great experience. We got in line and waited 3 mins max and got seated. If you don’t like hearing other conversations then just don’t come here because you’ll have to sit super close to other patrons. We didn’t mind at all. The customer service was good. Food came out pretty fast. We ordered topokki, popcorn dumplings, seafood tofu stew, galbi ribs and raw marinated crabs. We also had rice and banchan. The food was amazing!!! Everything was well balanced in flavor and quantity. Atmosphere was very go go go, loved it!! WILL be returning.

Taken here late at night I was hesitant at first because for me nothing beats Korean bbq like that in K-Town in Los Angeles. Not realizing that this location had ones back home I was instantly taken back to my young college years enjoying late high Korean bbq with friends. Fast and efficient, this place was incredible with its lively energy and authentic mouth watering Korean food. The spicy pork bugolgi was an absolute must and it only left me wanting more! Make sure you swing by this place while in the city.
