Our friends took us here least year and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent. The vibe busy and warm. I would highly recommend this place if you’re in NYC.

Walked in during peak traffic and was lucky to get a seat at the sushi bar. Great atmosphere and the decor is so cool. Not sure if they were short-staffed but service was really slow and at times, it was difficult to get a hold of our waitress. However, in the brief moments that we did get her attention, the waitress was really nice, answered our many questions and she did accommodate us really well in the end. Service aside, the rolls were delicious! I paired my food with sparkling cuvée prestige and it was perfect! I wouldn’t get the oysters again nor the lychee martini but everything else was fantastic!

Lure Fish Bar in NYC is a seafood haven with some standout dishes and a lively atmosphere. The spicy tuna and crispy rice are undeniably top-notch, delivering a perfect combination of flavors and textures that will leave your taste buds dancing with delight. While the sushi rolls are solid, they may not be the most remarkable aspect of the menu, and some might find them slightly overpriced. However, the quality is still there, and they are a decent choice if you’re in the mood for sushi. On the flip side, the chicken lollipops were a bit disappointing and could be skipped in favor of other menu options that shine brighter. The drinks at Lure Fish Bar are worth mentioning, as they are well-crafted and add to the overall dining experience. Whether you prefer classic cocktails or more inventive concoctions, you’ll find something to suit your taste. The lively atmosphere at Lure Fish Bar creates a vibrant setting for a date night or a fun dinner outing with friends. It’s a great spot to enjoy delicious seafood, sip on refreshing drinks, and soak in the energy of the bustling surroundings. Overall, Lure Fish Bar offers a solid seafood dining experience with some standout dishes. For a lively night out with good food and great drinks, this restaurant makes a solid choice in the heart of NYC.

I heard about this restaurant from a documentary that I watched on Netflix, 'High on the Hog' and I knew immediately I had to come and dine here. The kindness and attentiveness from the staff was great. The food was amazing. I had the Branzino St. Tropez which was cooked perfectly, crisp on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside, the Lychee martini for my cocktail, Blue Point New York Oysters, and I also had the New England clam chowder that was very good! For dessert, i had the warm chocolate chip cookie with salt, caramel and vanilla bean ice cream which was so delicious! Victor and Zog were so kind and welcoming!!! I highly recommend! Thank you!

Let me tell you, the devil eggs at Lure Fishbar are seriously out of this world! And that's not all, the tuna tataki dish is a real winner too. My taste buds were on cloud nine! The service, especially Samantha, was top-notch. The atmosphere is simply breathtaking, like stepping onto a luxurious ship. You've got to give this place a shot, trust me! And oh, make sure you leave some room for dessert because their cheesecake is absolutely legendary.

Generous portions and well priced, except for the deviled eggs which are a bit of a rip off ($19!!! But extra $3 premium of caviar was alright). The crispy sushi rice was very delicious as was the tempura shrimp. The sea bass and crab pasta were quite good but thought the halibut was a bit dry so would skip that. Overall, a good experience and can see why this is a NYC staple!

After closing a big sale at work, I surprised my partner with a reservation at Lure Fishbar. This soho spot has become our go-to over the years for celebrating special career milestones and successes. We arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled reservation knowing it was unlikely they'd be able to seat us, but somehow they made it happen! We were quickly greeted by our server, Jose, who took our drink order. After receiving our drinks and looking over the menu to make sure our favorite items were still on the menu, we ordered: A half dozen oysters, the spicy crispy rice, the hamachi ponzu crispy rice, the Shazam roll and the whole stuffed lobster. The whole stuffed lobster was the only item we had never tried before, so we knew we were in for a treat. All of the food came out well prepared and well-paced. We love the consistency of the oysters, crispy rices and rolls. However, once the whole stuff lobster came out, we were disappointed to see it was overcooked. Normally we wouldn't say anything, as we're pretty laidback when it comes to food orders, but it was so overcooked that we couldn't get it out of the shell. We felt horrible, but knew we needed to let Jose know given the price point of the item. After informing him, he promptly asked if we wanted a new one or wanted to switch to another item. We ordered a new one and also ordered another Shazam roll while we waited. During that time, the manager, Orin (spelling?) came up to us to check in and assure us the lobster was being made with special care. Totally unnecessary, but we appreciated it and believe this level of hospitality is what sets Lure Fishbar out amongst the rest! We understand that not every order can be absolutely perfect (we're all human!), but that service can be - Lure Fishbar is an excellent example of a spot that knows what they are doing. When the newly cooked lobster came out, it was truly cooked to perfection and we couldn't have been happier. We really appreciate the kitchen for putting in the extra work for us. They also went above and beyond and surprised us with a special dessert to celebrate my sweetheart's work win! We are so grateful to Lure Fishbar, specifically Jose, Orin and the kitchen staff, for making our experience wonderful. We can't wait to visit again soon.

I almost hesitated to write this review, as I wanted to keep this restaurant to myself lol. So, please don't spread the word haha. The ambience was excellent. The staff was unbelievably polite. The food was a huge OMG! Don't leave without trying the lobster mac and cheese! The sommelier was exceptionally attentive. Giovanni, you rock!!! Will be back soon...maybe in a few hours hahaha

Came here for my wife and I’s anniversary and it was a perfect date spot. Pricey, but worth it. All the seafood was extremely fresh and delicious. Our favorite dishes were the Salmon Tiradito & Tuna Tataki. Crispy sushi is also a must try. Opt for outdoor seating and pass on the sushi rolls- there are wayyyy better options on the menu

The devil eggs here are so good. Had a wonderful tasting experience overall. The staff was great and tended to your service need. The atmosphere is beautiful. Feels like you're on a ship. Beautifully done. Give this place a try. Don't forget to get the cheesecake for dessert.
