Exceptional, it could not get any better. Superb menu, excellent wine & coctails, staff are amazing in fact there is nothing bad that I can say about this place and it’s now my ‘go to’ when in NYC
Really loved the food and the staff were extremely friendly. The room downstairs had a great intimate vibe highly recommend
Great atmosphere and amazing food! Service was ok although a bit slow. Food was delicious, even though my steak tasted a bit like old steak (not aged, Old steak) but otherwise amazing, I would go back and recommend!
Holy moly what a place! Their oysters, spring for the dozen and you won't regret it. The steaks, they know what they're doing and the atmosphere is so great. My favorite part is actually how knowledgeable the staff is about the restaurant and Bowery's history. Ask any question about the horses Saxon or Parole and you're in for a treat ;)
One word to the wise though is that the prices are rather high - I do recommend it for at least a special occasion!

Come here frequently and can say they make a very good dirty martini with blue cheese olives in the bloody Mary’s on the weekend are extremely good… Love the option of doing the whole cow with a group of six as it was delicious, and I highly recommend the tuna tartare. We did a cut last night however for $140 and had to send it back as it was over salted and the second one was far undercooked for medium rare.
I came here specifically for the impossible burger, so this is mainly a review for that dish. However, regarding the service and ambiance, Saxon + Parole was on point! Their service was nice and comfortable. I'd love to come back again to visit the bar too, since it looks really fun. I also dined alone, but I could see this being a great place to take a date. The noise level was nice and the lighting was sexy. I wish I came with a friend so we could try more dishes! I'll make sure to do that soon and update this review.
The impossible burger at Saxon + Parole was simply delicious. It's for people who should expect the taste of a regular beef burger, not for those expecting a better veggie burger. It came somewhat deconstructed with the fresh veggies off to the side. I chose to take my initial bites without veggies to taste the burger patty better. My initial thoughts are that this doesn't taste like a veggie burger and it's very heavy on the mushroom flavor. I love it though. I later found out that the mushroom flavor was mainly from the truffle mushroom sauce on top.
The restaurant was very dimly lit, so I can't see clearly. From what I can tell, the patty browns up nicely and I can get a bit of crunch from it. I took a little bite apart and it looks similar to shredded chicken in texture. Perhaps my tastebuds were a bit overwhelmed by the sauce, but I couldn't taste much flavor from the patty on its own. Impossible foods aims to create a burger that looks, tastes and feels like a regular meat burger. I think it feels like a meat burger, but I can't fully attest to the look since it was dim. As far as taste, I think I got the taste of the whole burger put together (as good constructed food should be), but couldn't discern the patty from the rest. What I can say is that it doesn't taste like a veggie burger. It's moist and left me feeling satiated. I didn't feel like I left without having a satisfying meat burger.
Ultimately, Saxon + Parole did right by their menu. They wanted to create a fully delicious burger, not just an impossible burger patty showcase. As a dish of itself (ignoring whether it was a real beef patty or an impossible patty), it was delicious!!
Great burger, awesome service. The fried oysters were also good. The cheesecake is pretty big but not a five star dessert.
We love Saxon + parole ! Delicate ambience wrapped up in contemporary chic style . Good menu with a mouth watering burger . However this time we went down under , the basement has been turned into alternative tapas compound . Not bad
The food was tasty and the meat was cooked beautifully. It was not particularly impressive for the price. Plates were placed on the table as an afterthought with no commentary as to what the dish was. Once the meal was delivered the waiter started to do his nightly cleanup and kind of ignored us and another table, it was only about 9:30 when we finished but it was a pain to order dessert, we decided against it when the waiter disappeared and finally get the check so we could leave the restaurant. the volume of the restaurants music was incredibly perfect- I may come back for this reason alone.
Very good quality. Love that they have the Impossible Burger (and it's much better here than at Momofuku Nishi). Brunch was very good. The only drawback is that the boozy brunch can get a little loud and some people get drunk (not necessarily in a good way). Loved the 80s music that they played. Definitely going back.
Went there for the Impossible Burger, but stayed for the great wines cocktails and extremely friendly service. The chef used to head a Michelin star kitchen and his food speaks volumes.
As for the impossible burger, this was probably the best one in all of new york. The chef does it really, really well and is definitely worth every single penny.
Came here a few times for special events and brunch. Montauk on Bowery was a very memorable and fun seafood feast, with unlimited beer and rose, fresh lobsters, king crab legs and shell fish. It's a bit loud but did add to the feast atmosphere.
Turkish eggs at brunch was quite special and tasty and was not found elsewhere in the city.
