Great shop. I normally get green tea and one of the sandwiches from here. There are a lot of sandwiches and salads and other great healthy options. Very high quality and healthy food. A lot of options. Avocado pine nut wrap is probably my favorite but there are some many others. Definitely check it out.
I pick up my lunch almost every day from this location. The staff is always friendly. For the most part I enjoy their selection. My only comment is this. Pret a Manger recently added a few new summer salads. They are very good however the packaging has changed. The portions are not the same , so i feel I am not getting my money's worth. This afternoon I deviated and purchased the Caprese sandwich on a baguette, tomato, arugula and cheese. Instead i got 4 very thinly sliced tomatoes, a lot of arugula and some cheese. I am still hungry.
This is my go-to Pret. I am absolutely addicted to the coffee and its a super convenient location in Rock Center.
The workers are wonderful and very kind - which is nice, especially during a hostile Manhattan morning commute.
However, the only problem here is definitely a bit of slowness. I understand its early but everything should be pretty much ready to go for the early morning rush hour crowd. Coffee's are empty majority of the time, milk's and cream's take forever to come out, and even when theres no line, it'll take 10 minutes for someone to come out from the back and make an iced coffee. pretty sure I waited 5 minutes this morning and the coffee was RIGHT THERE - just no one to pour it. Days I'm running late, I have to skip them (and a lot of my friends say this too) because it just kills more time waiting for one cup of coffee. You never know how long you'll be in there.
Overall, great job but need to keep up with the Manhattan pace!
The food is delicious. I particularly like their Chicken Avocado Sandwich. The baguette is the best. The chocolate croissant is yummm!!!
