Located in Manhattan, NY, is this crustacean spot called Luke’s lobster. This father & son owned restaurant serves straight up seafood cuisines. The decor & restaurant may be small but walking in, it is heart warming and welcoming! Having the lobsters/meats imported from Maine, the food is delicious!! The lobster itself was seasoned, tender & was very flavorful! The sauce that was mixed in with the lobster was a great compliment as well as the crispy/crunchy fries! The flaky buttered bun is a cherry on top to the roll. The prices ranges from $10-30 which is a bit pricey for what you are getting but it is definitely worth it ! Overall, if you are in the NY area, do check this place out !!

After a long walk from MET museum, we finally found the place where my friend strongly recommend. It is on B1 in The Plaza food hall, a small space but can create so many delicious rolls. We each ordered the most famous lobster roll. It was wonderful! I love the crispy roll with lobster inside! It truly brought me happiness of a day.
Had the trio sampler and will probably just get the full lobster roll (the superstar out of the 3) on its own next time. The lobster tail with butter sauce was divine. The clam chowder was creamy and delicious - got the large tub between 2 but felt the small one would’ve been enough as it is quite heavy. Pricey overall but it is lobster and NYC.
I’ve been to Luke’s before 5 years ago for the trio special - crab. Lobster and shrimp roll and coming back it didn’t disappoint. Layers of meat of crispy warm roll filled me with joy once again. Found in the plaza food hall near Central Park there isn’t much of seating or decor but the entire area is always busy and buzzing. Highly recommend to have with the root beer.
I tried the one in the Plaza food court but the branch here is more down to earth.... less snooty. You can eat their famous lobster roll while looking out the window and people watch. They also have a great selection of "artisan" rootbeer! The shrimp roll is good as well but before you try that make sure you tasted their lobster roll first. Their portions are not as filling though.
Every single time I go to NYC I literally dump my bags and go straight to the Plaza Food Hall for Lukes' Lobster rolls; sweet lobster, drizzled with melted butter, packed into a fresh bread roll. And anytime anyone asks me where to go in NYC this is on the top of the list. There is nothing more I can say.
Amazing lobster roll!! I went to Luke's Lobster in The Plaza and I got there right before they closed and I am so glad I did! The crab roll was so good as well.
Ótimo! Apesar deste Lukes Lobster, estar inserido numa espécie de centro comercial, os rolls são ótimos na mesma!! E como é um espaço agradável e sossegado, acaba por não prejudicar a experiência.
We re-visited LUKE’S LOBSTER, but decided to get something besides the lobster roll. Ok, well not really because we did get the lobster roll, but not a whole one! We got the combo that is 1/2 crab roll, 1/2 shrimp roll and 1/2 lobster roll. I was diggin’ this trio and the spices on the shrimp roll!
Had a lobster roll and a sampler pack of 3 half rolls of lobster, crab and shrimp. All delicious but the lobster roll is the show stopper. As nice as the crab and shrimp are, if you're visiting NYC and can't come here often don't bother with them and just go the lobster roll. The lobster works so well with the slightly toasted and buttered roll that melts in your mouth. It's not cheap but it's ridiculously good.
Lobster is always in season at Luke's. Huge chunks of lobster in the classic lobster roll. Worth what some might feel is a expensive. It's a great place to go if you're looking for a flavorful option before a show or on the way to the museum.
Decided to have a quick snack after seeing the home alone hotel (childhood movie). Lobster roll was delicious, came with a drink and pack of crisps (chips). Reasonably priced but more importantly tasted amazing.
Good place for a very quick bite if you like lobster, crab or shrimp rolls. For me, lobster and crab rolls are good choices. Shrimp roll is weak in a menu as shrimps are obviously defrosted one and lacking a good texture.
The lobster roll was AMAZING!!!! Crispy roll and loads of lobster meat! Just enough of the butter source so it doesn't taste oily.
Super tasty super loaded lobster roll! Served really quickly with no wait at all and really friendly service. Also gave me a great coffee recommendation too!
Came here due to the reviews and not disappointed. Great service - I had the ‘combo’ with coleslaw and it came to $35 which isn’t cheap but the quality of the lobster and crab was awesome.
It s a different experience in the plaza with other food outlets and places to sit.
Overall I took it as a NY experience and it was great!!
I've been to a bunch of the Luke's Lobster locations in NYC. They always hit the spot with fresh lobster and a tasty pickle. Staff were smiling and happy to take my order.
It isn't cheap, but wow is it good. They turn you around very fast, too. These lobster rolls can't be beat.
Lobster roll is very tasty. The place was surprised because it was quiet. You can order beer or wine nearby.
Fresh food but they serve my order to other people
