Had the Gramercy sandwich toasted — SO delicious! Will absolutely come back. Really nice staff and lots of yummy unique treats inside as well, brands from all over the world.
I had the great pleasure of ordering a cheese plate from Bedford Cheese for a party this weekend and I was SO glad I did. The plate was gorgeous with all these beautiful details (nuts, fruits, peppers, honey, etc) and the cheeses and meats were of the most awesome quality. Guests raved and I was thrilled since it was one less major thing I had to focus on!
Cool spot to meet friends for a coffee or Breakfast. Surprisingly nice and smiling staff, specially for a place so centrally located (near Union Square). The menu is a bit pricey but so is everything in the area. I had a grilled sandwich and it was ok, yet being a cheese shop I expected more "cheese goodness", stronger and more artisan flavors and textures and I found it to be more onto the average side. The pickled veggies and the side salad were both a pleasant surprise that paired perfectly.
This shop has so many cute and unique items to browse and purchase! They have a lot of specialty/local cheese and meats and artisanal accompaniments.
It’s also a lunch spot if you like sandwiches! Super cute and would come back if I need to build a charcuterie board.
Had the grilled cheese sandwich + bacon. Generous, gooey cheese but probably should’ve gone without the bacon (made it too salty overall). Think Coffee served. Outdoor seating perfect for a lovely day like today. Got distracted and forgot I wanted to try the key lime pie! 😂 Next time.

Just spoke with Kai who has an unbelievable knowledge about cheese. I've never even heard about this Swedish cheese from a farm almost 700 years old, but there you go. I'm also leaving a review so they can see the spelling of the cheese I requested, that perhaps they could find out why it's not permitted in the US due to sodium nitrate concentrations (or maybe it is, and I'm mistaken). Anyway, the cheese I wanted is called Västerbottensost. I've attached a photo too. Bondost, Hushållsost, and Prästost are also gold standard cheeses in Sweden. And in case you couldn't tell, ost is the word for cheese in Swedish. See that? You learn something new every day. Glad ost! Happy cheesing everybody!!
Tried this spot out after trying their weekend special doughnut collab with the Doughnut Project (that was fire if you were wondering). I went with the Gramercy Sandwich and it was delicious. My friends told me the have the best bread and they are right. It was crispy and delicious. It paired perfectly with the roasted Turkey, goat cheddar, and pappadews. The real finishing touch was the homemade aioli. So good!
Tried the Ridgewood sandwich, the mix of Gruyère, Parma cotta, roasted tomato, green and BCS Dijon spread hits the spot, good portion for lunch with a side of chips.
Best cheese shop in the city! The employees are so knowledgeable and helpful and the selection is incredible!
