It’s about as cheap as it’ll get for midtown and You can get the pizza quickly. I enjoyed the food! I would definitely go again for a quick bite.
What else can u wish except having a slice of freshly baked pizza for just 1$? 2 slices of this fatty delight will make an average person full. U can also choose some additional toppings and pay extra or just season it the way u like for free (there is pepper, spicy sauce, ketchup and parmesan cheese available).
Althought there are many places in NYC which serve 1$ pizza slices, I know only 2 where the pizza is really good and will make u return to their location frequently. That's one of them.
Imagine having a pizza the size of your palm for only 99cents!

Well, i put on extra chilli, for the sake of my Javanese tounge, and it still not spicy enough for me.
Anyway, we can also add extra cheese without paying extra! (How cools is that!)
The cheese pizza was actually pretty good,though I think it could have used a little more sauce. Definitely skip the toppings, but for the price it is tough to beat a couple of slices of cheese.
Get the 2 cheese slices and soda deal! This pizza is pretty legit for the price! Also, make sure you are very clear with what you want with cash ready. This place runs off of fast efficiency and they won’t hesitate to be rude if you slow their flow lol (seen it happen to the person ahead of us)
Also if there’s nowhere to sit inside (because it’s typically busy) then just walk down to the park and grab a bench!
$1 cheese pizza per slice! We loved it, not just the price tag but also the pizza itself. It was fresh, just the right amount of cheese and the perfect crust! We cannot believe it is actually as good as what everyone is saying online. Just be reminded that it is cash only, so bring your cash and try it out!
For NYC, this is the best $ value for food and it's pretty darn good!
The cheese pizza is great but I really loved the BBQ chicken. My partner had a sausage slice and a pepperoni slice, he liked both
We were visiting NYC and stumbled upon this restaurant when we noticed a line up. We heard about popular dollar pizzas in NYC and assumed this might be one of the better ones given the lineup. We waited about 20 minutes to get served, but the wait was well worth it
They had run out of pepperoni pizza when we were served, so we got a cheese pizza. This was probably one of the best slice of cheese pizza I've ever had. It was extremely cheesy, the crust and base were delicious, and it was just an incredibly satisfying bite. However, I will say that it was very oily and a little messy because of how drippy it can get. I wish I had gotten a box instead of a slice!
The atmosphere is non-existent as it's a takeout restaurant, but the lineup and the general vibe was great. The service was also quite unexceptional, but they're busy and tired so it is what it is.
As people told me, New York before the pandemic was a place famous with its tasty and cheap food. But now all prices go up everywhere and this statement is not longer actual anymore.
But this place makes something magical. They still sell a slice for one dollar! Even after the pandemic. I respect you guys. You’re legends! Thank you for keeping the New York style.
This was an amazing must stop. The pizza was the definition of NY pizza! This place also takes cash only which may be a turn off for some but is a plus to me in this case. The wait was about 5 minutes to order and 5 minutes for fresh hot pizza. The prices are great and unbeatable in this overpriced city 10/10 would return! The only negatives for me would be the place could be a lot cleaner sanitation wise, the fact I didn’t receive my change and the line to place your order was really disorganized .
If you’d like a cheap meal after a long day sightseeing this is the place to go. 🍕 I can’t believe they sell a slice for 1$ in a city where two drinks in a mediocre bar will set you back about $25-$30.
If you travel economically then plan your trip to finish at Time Square, the place is only a short walk from there.
There's no need to elaborate: this is a perfect spot to pick up a late night pizza. If you've enjoyed a night out and need something totally and perfectly satisfying to satiate you in the wee hours... for a 2-slice and a soda meal for a couple bucks, no less... 99c Pizza is wonderful.
2 slices and a soda and you're on your way. Really not much else to it. The pizza is basic but, again, you're going here not for gourmet but for pure satisfaction, and this achieves exactly that.

Overall, good pizza. I have had better in New York but this was fine. The price has increased and is no longer 99 cent per slice. Small spot where you can stand up and eat your pizza against the wall. I would recommend if you are in the area and need something quick. We had the chicken pizza, hawiian pizza, and the cheese.
One of the last bastions of good 99 cent pizza on Broadway after so many others have fallen. Do not go gently into the night, rage against the dying light!
Can't complain for a 99c slice, when it's fresh outta oven bubbly. Usually a bit of line out the door, but goes down fast enough. Slice has crunchy crust, firm enough for the fold. Cheese and sauce not sparce like some other places. Got your usual spices on counter pepper, chili flakes, garlic, parm. Only $1 for can of soda unlike local food carts robbing tourists for $2+.
All walks can be found here from tennage HS students to messengers to businessmen. Don't try to scam the owners though throwing money on counter, they don't play games and won't be intimidated.
