I have been coming here since I was in college. Let me tell you the quality and portion size has not changed one bit which I appreciate. I typically get the general tso chicken dinner platter which is like $12 and it comes with the chicken, shrimp fried rice and an egg roll. My food was delicious! I could drink the sauce for the chicken because it’s so good. Since they give you a good amount this usually lasts me a couple of days. Also, the woman that was working the front when I came in was so sweet. Plus I got my food in about 10min or so. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want delicious and affordable Chinese food.

My husband and I tried this neighborhood we restaurant. The portions were large and the food was hot and cooked just right. We ordered the orange chicken, mandarin chicken, and combination rice plates. We will definitely return.
I love this place! I ordered on Saturday March 20, 2021 at 9:00 pm. They deliver even if it’s close! They were so nice!! Patient and were not rude on the phone. She wasn’t even annoyed that I changed my order and paused to look at the menu on my phone. They are genuine nice people at heart and just want to make people food!
I was scared I was going to be denied service but they didn’t! They made my day!
Everything we order is delicious and the delivery is always fast!
I don't know what these one-star people are talking about. Our food came hot, and 15 minutes sooner than the estimated time.
The crab rangoon was amazing, and beautiful looking. The fried rice and egg rolls were average or better. I wish there were a bit more vegetables in the chicken & vegetables, but I really liked that they throw zucchini in the mix.
Overall not my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in the city, but damned passable and worth our money spent. I'll be happy to call them again.
I was extremely pleased with my excellent dining experience at Red Star. Everything from the perfect quality of the food to the amazing service was the best I've seen in New Orleans.
The food was the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life. It was flavorful, tasty, and very well prepared.
The service also shined. The employees were helpful, polite, and professional, and the food was ready extremely quickly.
I had a great time eating with my friends at this amazing resteraunt. There's not one thing I'd change about my experience, since the outstanding food was prepared quickly by the great work staff. I would definitely recommend eating here. Five stars for Red Star!
Some of the best Moo Shoo I have ever had! Had to leave a review because it's seriously one of the best ever. Not too saucy, not too salty, lots of vegies and mushrooms. Love it. Will be back!
