It took a while to be seated but it was well worth the wait. The food was good and our server Dre was wonderful. It was almost closing time when we got there & they wasn't trying to rush us to finish eating or nothing. Great southern hospitality, and this is coming from someone that is southern because I'm from GA. I must say it a big difference too.
Hands down the best Alfredo I've ever had. You can taste it's made from scratch. The garlic butter potato wedges were amazing too! Would go back for sure. Service was a tad slow, but the food was piping hot and the servers were nice. The place was very busy when we were there.
Awesome food!! 5 🌟 Jambalaya what's amazing, even the cruttons in my salad were buttery and crunchy! Oysters were fresh and delicious! And fish was soft and spiced perfectly. Everything even the bloody Mary was great! Will come back for sure! plus the view from the balcony even in a chilly day was awesome!
On a business trip and my co workers decided that this was the spot we were going to eat at for lunch. Boy am I glad that we did. We enjoyed the meal soooo much, 2 of us had the shrimp po boys and they didn't skimp on the shrimp!!! Another 1 of us had the gumbo she said it was just ok it could have been a bit more seasoned, but the charbroiled oysters were very delicious and I can attest to that because I tasted one.
For drinks we had the Margarita Mambo and the 44, when I say that these drinks were sooo good, they were!!!! Lol
One of my co workers is Vegan and believe it or not they were able to accommodate her here. They grilled some veggies for her even though it isn't on the menu I really appreciated them being able to do that. Our waitress Marshall was AMAZING. She was personable as ever. I adored her attitude and her willingness to help the Vegan.
Never disappoints. Had a Shrimpzilla and Catfish Lafitte. My New Orleans - born boyfriend also had a cup gumbo that left him speechless. Try the cocktail called 'The 44' (a name which commemorates the Saints' Super Bowl win) for a nice kick.
Just happened to need fried oysters for my my mom and happened upon this nugget. The thin fried catfish with spicy seasoning was delightful and the tartar sauce was perfect. Served along with most of their dishes are garlic fries - steak fries bathed in butter and garlic. Yummy! The chicken fingers were hand-breaded and very tender. The oysters were perfect. Highly recommend. We also saw plenty of locals eating here and that is always a good sign.
I loved the food here. There fried fish is wonderful, the dirty rice is as tasty as you'll find, service was great.
This is a great place and very well located. Burgers were perfect, patties were juicy and tasty and fries come with a delicious garlic butter. Gumbo was ok but not great. Oh and they had happy hour....$2 for a pint of beer.

We enjoyed Shrimp platter twice in 24hr period. Both times the service was helpful and willing to serve. Sign says wait to be seated.... we did ... got seated within 1 min and food one table in 18 minutes....Food was fresh and hot... location was in the thick of it..... would eat here again for a 3rd time if I were still in NOLA. ....WHY WOULD you wait for 10 minutes and think that it was "Forever"? Its 10 minutes! Then, like old school... YOU would GET a staff member attention and then speak with a manager about your ideas or concerns...... but instead those of you / "you cowards" hide behind a negative review ! Go talk with a MANAGER and let them help you, first..... when they help you, then you can write a review - Neutral to positive review.... stop crying about everything.... ARrrrrrrrRrrrr
Our waitress was kind and check up on us regularly and refilled our drinks when needed. Overall the food was pretty good. Their garlic fries re pretty tasty. We got the catfish platter and shrimpzilla po boy. Dont spend the extra $3 for the platter. You only get a small cup of preshredded cabbage and 2 tiny "hushpuppies" that are just fried cornbread balls in addition to the normal meal. The shrimp po boy was good with the gravy. I recommend putting tartar on it as well. Sit by the front windows for good views of the street crowd :)
