My new favorite coffee house. Try the specials like orange blossom latte, the flavoring is homemade. I like the windows, artsy atmosphere, and friendliness.
Bright, inviting interior. Fresh, flavorful food. Gluten-free friendly. Family friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed lunch today. Low-key, great food, friendly owner - really, what more can you ask for in a corner coffee shop/cafe?
Looking at some negative reviews from last year, I can only assume that the new owner took over as late as September 2009. Everything was decently priced & tasty. Two large cappucinos, a chai, 2 pieces of king cake, and a snowball were less than $14. Everything was tasty and the shop was family friendly.
Wonderful!. We happened into the Corner Muse b/cause too long a wait at Surrey's. And Boy are we happy we did! New Owner Vanessa greeted us so cheerfully and set about making a wonderful mean for us: Two Po-Boys and a large wonderful coffee for my man and a vegan plate of hummos, carrots, zucchini, fruit, nuts & seeds for me. We both ate for $21 and carried food home. Loved Vanessa's energy and want everyone to try this place that is renewed and rebuilt just as wonderfully as this city is!
New and Improved!. The place was just taken over by a mother and son duo. This is place is geared towards kids and parents.
She is extremely cheerful and obviously enjoys what she is doing. She is obviously a coffee lover and FTO is important to her. I think her latte foam was great!

This place is a real neighborhood gem. The owner really cares about everyone having a great time when they're visiting. It can get loud in the afternoon with all the neighborhood kids running in but it just shows how much the shop is beloved. Try the affogato - it's wonderful - as are all the other coffee options. It's even a great spot to grab a snowball on a hot day.
I got an americano and it was pretty good. They had ran out of brewed coffee, but the americano turned out to be an upgrade. The girl behind the counter was friendly and cheerful, despite an apparently slow day.
Vanessa is awesome! Talked with us for about an hour while we drabk our coffee. I would come here every single day if I could!!
Coffee was the best I have had in the whole of Nola. Baristas are great, service is fantastic, and the environment is perfectly homey.
