I missed it the first time past and the name threw me a little like a dessert place but it was a pleasant surprise. The staff there made me feel like a friend the very first time. I had Seafood Soup that was excellent and had a nice twist and the Gyoza was fine. The Yummy roll was a special treat. I will be back!!!
My favorite sushi restaurant! The sushi is always fresh, delicious and the prices are great. The tiger roll is my favorite and the baked salmon appetizer is so good too! Get the lunch bento box, it is a lot of food for only $8!
This place is reasonably priced and the sushi is good. The basic Garden salad is better than most. My only gripe is the two large TVs that are on either side of the dining area. I'm straining my neck not to see news about a bombing in Gaza while I eat. They could really improve the atmosphere if they'd turn of the TVs.
The Name Says It All. Yummy is certainly the right name for this place! The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and made to order. I have.always had great service and properly prepared orders. I haven't been a fan of sushi before, but the menu here offers a such a variety that I have tried a few different types and liked them all. They now deliver with a minimum order. I highly recommend Yummy!

Yummy is the best sushi in town. Yummy Sushi & Hibachi is the best sushi I had in New Orleans. I've had sushi from other places and didn't really care for it. This is the place to go for sushi and plus they also deliver.
Yummy is yummy!. Fresh, reasonably priced sushi! The specialty rolls are amazing, the waitresses are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. We eat there 2-3 times a month.

SUPER YUMMY. Yummy just recently started delivering in our area (they'll deliver 3 miles from thier location I think?). We ordered a large amount of food: Love Platter, Chirashi, Tempura, Tiger Roll, Soft Shell Crab Roll, and Jazz Roll. EVERYTHING was delicious! Delivery person was very happy and thankful. However, delivery did take a little over an hour. The family will be ordering from here often!
This is the only sushi place in New Orleans where I've been able to eat extremely well and with a really good price(not expensive at all). The atmosphere is very nice and clean. the attention of the waiters is excellent. I love the fact that everything is really fresh and well done. I really recommend this place without a doubt!
They are telling the truth when it says yummy in their name. Really good food, awesome service, atmosphere was just right with some music but not loud that it was overbearing. Definitely coming back again.
Service was super friendly. The salmon avocado roll was really good. And the Fire Pot Soup was the best soup I have ever had in my entire life. Definitely recommend going here

Got their sushi for carry out and it was delicious! We live in Gentilly and it’s great to have a good sushi place near us, I used to have to drive a lot farther to get sushi before I knew about Yummy Sushi
The agadashi tofu is delicious, so is the yellow tail jalapeno. Definitely coming through again.

Delicious veggie fried rice and crunchy rolls with a crisp house salad and miso soup. I got take out and my order was ready in a jiffy!
They're soooo nice here and they give you a lot for the price!! I luv
One of the better sushi places in the city. The staff is the friendliest I've ever met. Whenever I call to place an order, they not only remember my name, but remember the little details of my order (like low sodium soy sauce and extra spicy mayo). Can't recommend them enough. Definitely a gem in Gentilly.
