Prime Example is located in a nice area for locals and non. A tid awkward to walk in and have a seat, then have the bartender walk up to you within 4 minutes to advise that you have to purchase to be inside. Yet, not ask if I would like a drink or beverage. I did advise the bartender that I was meeting someone there. She was fine with that once informed. Note that she was always polite. The atmosphere is spot on for a pub-type establishment.

Tuesday and Wednesday night bands are amazing also food is very tasty
I'm not sure or the lady name I encountered but she was Alsome! I came before she was open and she still made sure I got what I wanted...the good was so good, I wanted to taste it and put the plate down until I got home but I couldn't even close the plate and it was hot and taste like my mamma cooked it herself! Will be returning and I suggest you go too! 😍😘👌🏽
The Prime Example is a nice Jazz Bar with live music and excellent food. Also they have an "Upstairs" Bar" ran by Sharon Martin and Michael "Sal" Martin. They make sure you have a great time and make you feel at home..Try the red beans and rice with fried chicken!!!!!
Mature crowd, great oldies music playing on the jukebox. Laid back vibe, good drinks and a nice, attentive bartender. They have live music often and offer food! I'll be back when I'm back in town.

Live music. Delicious food. Personal attention from the owner. I was visiting from out of town and im glad i listened to local recommendations and came here. Its NOLA at its purest form. Will return when i visit the bug easy again
First time experience was great. Nice adult spot. Happy hour was awesome. Met a lot of new friends.
On Tuesday nights, you can witness the best jamm session in the city with several local artist passing through with their instruments joining in the fun! Tuesday is also Steak Night only $12

I wish they were open on Mondays. The food is always flavorful and made to order. The only issue with made to order food is the wait time. It's worth the wait.
