Everything was soooo good! We selected a few starters including the meat balls (3 come with it), calamari so crispy and good, and the Italian salad was full of flavor and the dressing was perfect! Highly recommend the woodfire pizzas! They’re big enough to share between 2 people. Steak is a skirt steak, made one way, but still good. Desserts were great- our table ordered the chocolate mousse and the panna cotta!
Service was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. They are sticklers for seating your party all at once, so be sure and have all guests arrive on time.
Restaurant has a fun ambiance and well lite!

A very good place to eat, I stopped by for a late night pizza and a beer. The bar staff was super nice and friendly. The pizza was pretty top notch too if you ask me, the crust had a nice crisp to it, sauce was a bit sweet but with the basil it balanced it out perfectly.

This is a "sister" restaurant to Pesh and Herbsaint both of which we love so we decided to try it. We were not disapointed! They have a lovely hostess E, who definitely starts your evening off in the right direction. The staff is great and work well in teams. The menu is somewhat limited for us as we do not eat red meat but my husband is Italian and the pastas are a must try to to compare...
The soup with escarole is wonderful to start and the octopus is pretty wonderful and very tender to be prepared. The pastas- home run!! We took the meat out of the rigatoni but it honestly did not need meat. The sauce was divine and the pasta was prepared to perfection. The gnocchi was not heavy (no potatos) and prepared with mushrooms to die for!! Desserts were heavenly, but light. Limoncello was very good - Better than average Grappa list! Extensive Italian wine list and a few well aged reds. They don't have a great way to aerate the older wines, so just bear that in mind.
All in all it is a must do and probably one of the more truly authentic -(like you will eat in Italy)- restaurants around. It has a lovely bar area and table arrangements are small enough to have good conversation. The acoustics have been well thought.
Great place for friends, family or date night!
I had brunch here and really enjoyed it. Looking at the menu beforehand I was hesitant to have more italian style food for a brunch early in the morning - but I cannot recommend their dishes enough. We shared small plates and large dishes, and everything I tried beat my expectations. The meatballs and "hashbrown pancake" were my favorites. The staff was also really kind. I'd definitely recommend, and will be coming back here for sure.
My husband and I enjoyed the swordfish and Waygu skirt steak.

I had the Saltimboca with the Paisano Potatoes. Everything was amazing! Service was just right, attentive but not overbearing. Decent wine by the glass options and very extensive by the bottle wine list.
The U shaped bar and location drew us in. The service and food is what kept us there! Will be back. Was too busy eating and interacting with the staff that I forgot to take more food pics. Our bartender was one of the best!!
Always on the hunt for something new and delicious in NOLA? I know my team has been everywhere, done everything in the area…. Then one night we found Gianna! Part of my group refuses to eat in “fancy” places - Gianna has a bar.
So we never know what to order, everything is delicious. Gianna has a Chefs Choice - it’s whatever they feel like sending out! And it’s perfect! We had a great time and delicious meal and returned on the next trip! This place is a must-do when your in town. You will not be disappointed!
I had booked this place for dinner and went their with a couple of friends to celebrate my husband's birthday. They made the birthday celebration really special. They wrote "Happy Birthday " one each of the menu cards they kept on our table. My husband and everyone of the table was gladly surprised. I had no idea about this plan and it was really sweet of them to do it. The food was really delicious but remember the portion size is less. We ordered the Margarita pizza and it was yum and didn't have too much of cheese and tomato on it, it was just perfect. We ordered the potato gnocchi which was delicious and the gnocchi had brown butter sauce which was nice and wasn't dry. The garlic bread was delightful. The manager later served us with a nice birthday dessert which was on the house. He asked me which dessert would my husband like which was nice of him to do. We tried the butterscotch dessert and it was unique.
From the moment we sat down with our server Luke, we were having a fantastic experience. He welcomed us in this uptight environment and made us feel comfortable. He brought insanely delicious food with good recommendations and entertained our humorous atmosphere. Jo was also incredibly helpful and lightened the mood as well. Even though the restaurant was down 3 servers and only had these 2 men working the floor, the service was exceptional and the food came out incredibly quick. 6 out of 5 experience, would love to come here again or even bring a date here for a romantic and extravagant experience.
