Delicious meal from beginning to end. Salmon rangoon dumplings were a great combination of smoky and creamy with a perfectly chewy/crisp potsticker dough. Huxta bowl with red noodles had the ideal amount of spice without overpowering the flavor profiles of the meat/broth. The special crawfish ramen was so incredibly unique and rich - really hoping to see this again throughout crawfish season! Service was laid back, friendly and accommodating. So glad we finally made it over to give these guys a try. Will be a new staple in our dining out rotation for sure!

Arguably one of my top places to eat in the city. Have never been disappointed by the ramen nor the duplings. Maybe the best hagover food in New Orleans as well!

Incredible! The 'Technically Tonk' ramen was delicious with a savory broth, phenomenal noodles and an on point, thin-sliced smoked pork
shoulder. Only seats about 30 people total, but it is completely worth any wait you might have.

Midwest Foodie: We were going for something a little out of our comfort zone and took a classmate’s recommendation to check out Kin. We started out with some fried potstickers stuffed with crab that were quite tasty. We had an oxtail ramen with a fried egg and a vegan dish that had a yellow bean sauce base. The food was good but woah was there a lot of garlic. I’m Italian and I was still blown away! Happy I went and enjoyed my meal, but wouldn’t rave about the food. One thumb up.

Short version: Tiny restaurant, tasty food, good experience.

Long version: Yep, this is a small restaurant. It wasn't crowded when I got there, but I went at 1:30 on a Thursday. I don't think they take reservations anymore. Off-street parking is very limited.

The food was good. This was my second time eating real ramen, my first being at "Noodle and Pie"; in the ramen throwdown, "Kin" wins. I had the oxtail ramen, which had delicious broth and meat. Everything looked fresh and tasted good.

The service was good too. I sat at the bar by the register, meaning I was hard to ignore since I was right in front of them, but I never actually had to ask for anything because the servers kept on top of things. Also, as I was getting ready to leave, they held the door open for me; a nice touch.

Update: My single bowl of ramen provided me two meals and a snack. I don't eat a lot, but the average person would still probably have leftovers.

First time here! Amazing food, great service and atmosphere. I can't wait to come back. I had their ramen special of the day which was a crawfish base. The dumplings were a great starter too.

Situated on an "island", the location reminds me of an old gas station. The dining area is small, so I recommend reservations. It does get quite loud if there is a big party. Service is very friendly without being in your face. I had the gulf snapper with clams, artistically served. The fish was cooked to my liking. However, I was drawn to my dining mate's rabbit pasta - flavourful! To finish it off, we had the tiramiso with coffee ice-cream. Though sinfully heavenly, it was on the pricier side.

Great new spot! Try this place! It's tiny so call ahead for a reservation. The "TiramisO" dessert is sweet and salty and fabulous. Byob right now so come with your own drinks.

After a recent menu revision I was only a teensy bit apprehensive to see what was up with Kin. Honestly I was worried about nothing, the food was stellar and the recent menu revisions are just a sign of a young restaurant staying fresh and creative. The wings are better than most wing joints, and the new appetizer we tried was phenomenal. Be aware that the location is a little tight on space so coming during peak dinner hour may mean a slight wait but you'll be richly rewarded for your patience. The same great service and AMAZING food were present, this ranks as a must go if you're in the New Orleans area.

Creative ramen and sides with flavors that are perfectly balanced. Staff is very friendly. Looks unassuming from the outside, but they serve some of the best ramen you can get in the continental US

I was craving hard for ramen and decided to give Kin a try! Kin's selections is definitely a mix of the Southern and Japanese influence which is very interesting! For appetizers: -Spicy Crispy Chicken with in house sauce The spicy chicken had a very strong and overwhelming sriracha, tangy taste, I wouldn't say that it was my favorite. -Chicken pot pie dumplings They were perfect and had good amount of filling. Not too bad. Ramen: I had the Meow Meow Bowl. It was so flavorful and I really enjoyed the roasted pork! It had bamboo shoots, corn, and The browth and noodles was cooked to perfection. Overall I really enjoyed my meal, the staff was very friendly and I would definitely come again. Tip: The restaurant is quite small so it would probably be perfect for a small group of 4.

It was alright, the flavor was alright, the soup was lukewarm, it was not hot at all, dining area was small, seemed a little tight, not in my top ten ramen restaurants. The appetizers was tasty but a little on the pricey side, four dumplings didn't do much for hunger but tasted fine. The soup was flavorful but it felt like it sat around a little while before they brought it to the table

At first glance I was a little disdained by the restaurants outward appearance. Parking was non-existent, but being as we were the first ones there, it wasn't too bad. Entering the resturant was a clean experience; very small and cozy. Our server was very awkward and seemed a little incompetent. He took care of us just at a slow pace. Now the food was well worth the wait. Very well dressed plates and dynamic flavors. Would have no problem waiting for up to an hour for this food. Overall very nice experience.

Best ramen shop in New Orleans hands down. Really tasty selection of dumplings and chicken wings to start. Handmade noodles with the rich broth will have you in a food coma by the end.

You might come here for the ramen, but you might be better off just sticking with several orders of chicken wings. They are dope. I've had one of their ramens that was great (barbecue brisket) and another one that was just okay (with a chicken thigh). The menu changes quite often, and you've gotta love the authentic feel of the place.

Stopped by Kin for an early dinner on April 24, 2019 to try the Meow Meow Bowl because of others’ recommendations. Yum! I loved that the egg in the dish was soft boiled and that they let the flavor of the rich broth shine through without the addition of a lot of extra seasonings. In addition we added an order of the daily dumplings which were very tasty. Super appreciative of the good service, too.

Lovely little spot. There’s a small menu but everything on it is great! The menu changes often, but try the meow meow! There’s also really good dumplings and a BYOB option. ($10 if you decide to bring your own liquor). I had an awesome time here.

Good like a well-kept secret. If they keep this up, they'll need a larger location. The table and counter spaces are cozy or cramped depending upon one's perspective. I'm in the cozy camp, appreciating the attempt at authenticity by this noodle startup. The service is efficient and very cordial. Food is excellent. It's an eat-and-go place. Don't expect to linger. They need to keep the wait line moving. That's a good sign for the success of this restaurant.
