Any reviews other than 5 stars are out of touch with reality. This little place is a gem of NOLA. The food was amazing. We tried multiple dishes. The service was like a family get together. You don't have 10+ppl spend 4 hours at a place that isn't serving first rate food in a atmosphere thats inviting. We will always come here when we visit.

Had and awesome lunch at Toula’s. Just decided to take a chance and eat there after going to other local eateries and not feeling impressed by the menus (I.e. typical fried dishes). Although Toula’s also offers fried dishes , there are several other options that are delicious . The waitress (unfortunately, I forgot her name) was the sweetest lady ever and was kind enough to tell us of a few local spots we must visit. She was amazing. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Food was amazing and so were the drinks.

Hidden gem! Food was fantastic and the service & conversations with their staff was even better! Update: after eating our way around the French Quarter for 5 days, my wife and I picked our fav spot, and it was Toula's. Keith does such a fabulous job with their menu that I truly wish we could hang around longer to try everything on the menu. On top of that, Glen is a wonderful human being and provided us with a memorable glimpse of just how lovely the locals can be when you take time to hang out and get to know them better.

The bartender, manager, and waitstaff were all so much fun to talk to, and the drinks were so good! Po Boys (shrimp and catfish) were both absolutely delicious, the gumbo was very good as well... but the main reason for this review is for the Cinful chicken wings. The wings were so unbelievably good that 5 stars is not enough. I was licking my fingers to get just one more taste!! We met the cook, Jack Dennis, and not only did he create this amazingly CINFUL dry rub, he came out to talk to us and is such a nice guy. Overall wonderful experience, and officially on my MUST visit when I am in town.

Great food, great staff! We've stopped in twice this trip. The Spicy Etouffee was delicious, the white beans are a must try! If you're in the mood for a po boy, you can't go wrong with a blackened shrimp po boy here! Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Prompt service. Certainly worth stopping by!

Had a pleasant experience here a few days ago. We couldn't find a sports bar that didn't have at least an hour wait after the Saints game and we stumbled upon Toula's. They had football on the big screen but they were nice enough to change it to another game that we wanted to watch. This place is pretty small (maybe 7 tables) and some bar seats. Staff is super friendly. I had the shrimp po boy with fries and I really enjoyed it. My friend had the blackened catfish and said it was very good as well. I would recommend giving it a try.

The food was great. The only problem was the restaurant was under staffed. However, they made sure to accommodate where they fell short.

Laid back and quiet. Very good food and reasonable prices. Excellent service. Brie was our waitress and she was GREAT! We went three times in two days.

We were told of Toula's by a local who said the food, beer and atmosphere were incredible. They did not disappoint !!

Reasonably priced New Orleans style seafood in a bar type setting. Will likely go back.

Went there with my wife during a laundromat conference. It was great. Actually does not do it justice. The spinach dip appetizer was loved by my wife (a spinach lover). She also liked my shrimp remoulade which I loved. The fried catfish was great and seasoned well. It was so good that I really didn’t want to share with my wife. Fortunately her fried shrimp was as good as my catfish so we shared with each other. We have no opinion of any deserts since we were too stuffed to even consider ordering any. We don’t leave until Monday morning so we will definitely go back before we leave New Orleans.
