Everyone was so nice and food just just amazing.. we had fried chicken , mac and cheese with seafood and a few other things. It was the best southern food I have ever had.. just so good...
Amazing. The food, wow. Just cannot say anything that would do the Little Gem Saloon justice. Not only is the food delicious and leaves you wanting more, but the atmosphere, the historic building, the staff, especially the owners - Nick and Cheryl - are the most gracious and hosting people you will ever meet. If you are in NOLA visiting or are a local looking for a new go-to place, make Little Gem Saloon it!! Cannot wait to return!!
I stumbled across the little gem saloon while exploring the area on foot and happen to notice a sign advertising there lunch buffet. I enjoyed the food, plus its and opportunity to try multiple dishes for only $14.00, which is low compared the all other places I ate at while in NOLA. If you're in the area, give em a try.
Nice little place downtown. Just the right size to see the live performance on the stage . Good acoustic for music. Good food, Excellent service and friendly bartender.
Great historic venue with a wonderful staff. Music is wonderful. Management is on top of things. Worth the venture out of The French Quarter.
Great food and friendly staff! I stopped for lunch on the recommendations here and I was not disappointed. I had the fried chicken, which was excellent and reasonably priced. I'll be going back for the shrimp and grits.
Live Music by Lilli Lewis Trio on the evening ... good music and fine food... try the “ old fashioned” cocktail 👍🏻👍🏻
These 5 stars are for the Jamison Ross Trio playing all week. The service is fine and the food is above descent. BUT this week you can see Jamison Ross’ tribute to Nina Simone and some songs from his upcoming album and he is a beautiful musician. I feel like am a better, kinder and cooler person bc I heard him tonight. Well worth the trip, meal and cover. I can’t wait to pay 3x the $ to hear him in NYC where I’m from. Check him out all week.
This is a great venue in NOLA. Good food and drinks, reasonably priced, along with a nicely designed layout to enjoy the featured music as well. Picture is International Jam Session closing out the 2018 FQ Fest.
Server was very friendly. Drinks took a while but they were very busy. My daughter and I had the buffalo tenders with the sauce on the side, the tenders were burnt so we weren't a fan of those, but the French fries were SO GOOD! We were there during the day but it seemed like a great place to hang out and have drinks while listening to music later on. The atmosphere was very nice.
Food was good but we came after a Saints game and service was very slow for food.
Service was excellent and friendly. Server adjusted our drinks to suit out tastes after we sampled them. Drinks had enough alcohol. The salad with apples, cranberries and pecan needed more chicken but was very tasty. The cornbread was sweet and warm with homemade butter. The music was good. I would definitely go back again.
