EAT HERE!! If you're anywhere near this restaurant and are craving delicious cuisine for reasonable prices, this is the place. I started with the Martha's Tomatoe Stack which is as an unbelievable take on Fried Green Tomatoes. It's the original classic but next level in so many ways. Sweet, spicy, bacon, jalapenos... believe me, it's killer. Also ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Be prepared for a hefty beast wedged between two pieces of Texas toast. Everything was so good and I was amazingly full. Also, my server was spectacular. She brought everything out promptly, made recommendations, answered my questions and was just a sweet person overall. Super friendly and very nice host as well. The rest of the staff that I spoke to were all good people. I only wish I wasn't leaving tomorrow morning because I badly want to try the rest of their menu.

I wasn’t hungry, but I wanted something to drink, so I decided to try Lula Restaurant Distillery since I had some time to kill before heading to the airport. I was immediately greeted when I walked in the door, and the host put my bag in a corner and seated me outside. My waitress, Diamond, was amazing. I initially ordered a gin and tonic, and let me tell you, it was really good! I asked what tonic they use, and they make it in-house… it's incredibly good. Diamond told me about the Sugarcane Pork Skewers, which I just had to order. I’m not usually a fan of pork or sweets, but you absolutely have to try them. They’re sugarcane skewers wrapped in pork sausage, grilled with a spiced rum glaze on cabbage slaw… need I say more? I’ll definitely be back to enjoy some of their great gin and explore the rest of the menu.

This place is a must. The service, the attention to detail & the hospitality is above anything I've dealt with in months. The food was over the top amazing & prepared skill that is so far and few between. These folks pay attention to what they turn out & it shows. We will definitely be back.

Great drinks & fare at Lula. Server could have been a little more friendly / attentive but we came at an off time so it’s ok. We loved the cocktails on tap and the fried green tomatoes. I was a little surprised to see the body/head on my shrimp in my shrimp boil, but perhaps that’s my tourist ignorance... I survived!

We stopped in for Happy Hour on Friday, was warmly greeted by the bartender and sat at the bar. We enjoyed appetizers and wonderful service by the bartender Tony, who's great spirit made us want to come back for Bottomless Vodka Brunch on Saturday! The brunch was AMAZING and the drinks were even better. Could not speak higher in regards to bartender service by Tony and Haley

We went there for the Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was great! The gumbo was excellent, and then we had a very nice salad. The main course was turkey AND beef tenderloin, and both were nicely done. All the sides that came with the meal were excellent. We thought that you could pick a side or two to go with the dinner, but we got every side on the Thanksgiving menu. They had a good selection of help yourself desserts and coffee. The meal also came with a cocktail. The cost was $60 per person and was well worth it. Would go back again in a heartbeat!

Made a reservation just to be sure and there was plenty of seating available on a Wednesday night. We sat outside because we had a small dog with us! My friends and I shared the appetizers and a portion of the crawfish mac and cheese. The server was very nice and attentive. The food portion sizes are generous and it was nice to get leftovers to take home! Also, I recommend trying their frozen cocktails - it's a little on the strong side but delicious nonetheless. The bread pudding was a delicious finish. Overall, had a good time with friends and I highly recommend this place.

The food was amazing! So delicious and easily one of the best meals I’ve had in New Orleans. The happy hour was amazing. We had a friend visiting from out of state, and the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. Service was a little slow- we waited over 20 minutes for the check. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!

The interior of this restaurant is very cool. Great atmosphere for a nice dinner with family and/or friends. The menu is not large but the quality of the items is excellent. Cheeseburger, mac and cheese, fried pickles ribs, fried chicken sandwich, all excellent. The service was great as well. I highly recommend this place!

Lula was our first experience with amazing food in New Orleans and it did not disappoint. First, the vibe in there is excellent. They somehow found the perfect mix of casual-but-elegant and chill-but-upbeat. Our server (I wish I could remember her name) was fun, friendly, and helpful. Big smile, helped us navigate the menu, and ensured we had a great time. We got fried pickles as a starter and they were unlike any fried pickles we’ve had before. Easily the best we’ve ever had. They had a unique smoky flavor and not just because of the “smoked pablano ranch” sauce. For main courses, I ordered the Grilled Gulf Fish and my wife ordered the Crawfish Mac-N-Cheese. Fish is not exactly a go-to menu item for me, but it sounded good that night and was definitely the right choice. I would easily get it again. As for my wife’s mac-n-cheese, she came into New Orleans very nervous to try crawfish in any form, especially after watching videos about how to eat them (the disassembling, sucking out “brain butter,” etc). The Crawfish Mac-N-Cheese was a great way to try crawfish for someone nervous to try crawfish. No disassembly required lol and I can confirm it was delicious based on the few bites I stole. 10/10 loved this place and will definitely come back the next time we’re in New Orleans
