It was so amazing. I ordered the lamb shank and it was so tender I just used my fork. I'd never had a plantain before, but it comes with it and thought it was really great too. My hubby ordered the 6 oz filet, brussel sprouts, and lyonnaise potatoes. The brussel sprouts were so tasty and were probably my favorite. We like to eat half then switch plates so we can try everything. The steak was tender and was served with 3 sauces. My favorite was the worcestershire, but the bernaise was great too. For dessert, if you don't get the blueberry cheesecake bread pudding, you will miss out. That was literally the best dessert I've had in NOLA. My only complaint was that I noticed that they don't really have vodka or rum drinks on the menu. I don't like whiskey which is what they mostly had. My husband loves it and had the barrel-aged vieux carre. He said he liked it. I would definitely recommend this place and would eat here again!
I just left. We went as we were sending my dad back to Boston. We had a wonderful time. Our server Shannon and her TEAM were awesome. I wish I had gotten both of their names because they deserve extremely high praise as well for the wonderful service and friendly humor. You 2 gentlemen were Great!!!
Huge wine list!! There is something for everyone.
The food was delicious. We had the oysters, boudin balls, and the royal reds which was a special for an appetizer. All 3 were highly recommend. Totally on point. We all had different entrees. My dad's steak was cooked and tasted wonderful. My shank was fall off the bone savory deliciousness. My wife's pork chop with bacon and mashed potatoes were perfect. But the best was yet to come. We were recommended the key lime ice box pie and the chocolate chip cookies with vanilla milk. Key Lime Ice Box Pie is Awesome!!!! Really, chocolate chip cookies I mean they are just chocolate chip cookies right. Nope. They were pretty much the best damn chocolate chip cookies I have ever had. Plus the vanilla milk that was paired with them was outstanding. I am so glad we went. Thank you again to Shannon and her TEAM!!! They made our night truly special. Thank you. We will be back.
AMAZING! Honestly, I didn't have high expectations because I figured the place would be overhyped. It was not! Every single dish was outstanding! We had a large party so we ordered quite a few things and shared. You honestly can't go wrong with anything you choose!
Went here for a private event. The space was really nice, you get to go through the kitchen to get to the private dining room. They start with cornbread that was buttery and pretty standard. I got the shrimp and grits, some of my shrimp were overcooked and got rubbery and the grits cake wasn't anything to rave about, but the buttery sauce was delicious. I ended up using the cornbread to soak up the sauce. The salad was a pretty good size portion, almost there size of a lunch entree salad. I got the drum fish, it was cooked very well and the artichokes were a nice addition to the dish. I was so full that I took my dessert to go and have yet to taste it but it looked delicious and my fellow diners are their all up.
We were seated upstairs, in retrospect I should've requested during my reservation the first floor as we couldn't enjoy the piano player upstairs. The food was great the ribeye just about melted in your mouth, it was perfect! Loved the tableside presentation of Bananas Foster. The service from everyone...on point!👍🏼
4 Diamonds Restaurant 💎 but 5 stars ⭐️ Google!! Expect to be amazed. 😎
If you never come here and you want to have even a more VIP experience from what the restaurant already is, as for the private rooms. (Crystal room is the most exclusive one)
We had dinner at the Cypress room and everything was incredible. First of all they take you there crossing by the middle of the kitchen lol that was great. Once you get to the room, the attention from the waitress makes you feel comfortable and they are constantly taking care of you.
I had some starter don’t remember the name with some caviar on top (check my picture) and was a perfect combination of flavors! The rest also amazing, check all my entire photos and videos.
Excellent place for streak in New Orleans. Took the family for a birthday celebration. Service was phenomenal. I couldn't ask for any better food. Best restaurant to eat at in my opinion.
Excellent food and service. We didn't sit at the regular table, but decided to sit at the bar and enjoy their wonderful $.99 chargrilled oysters & half priced cocktails during happy hour to start. Many of the other places that do chargrilled oysters usually grill it so much the oysters are all shriveled up and you barely get to taste them, but not here at Delmonico's. The oysters were perfectly grilled and seasoned. The bartenders also know how to make some great cocktails here. After eating a dozen oysters and some snacks, we ended up splitting the Kansas City strip steak, and it was delicious. It's one of the best steaks I've had in a while - perfectly cooked and seasoned to medium rare. They also bring you a bevy of sauces for the steak, but there's no need. It's perfect as is. Because we sat in the bar area, I thought the service wouldn't be as good as if we had sat at the tables, but I was wrong. The service was very attentive, friendly, and fast even though it was pretty busy. Another one of Emeril's establishment that doesn't disappoint. We'll definitely be back.
After the National WWII Museum we treated ourselves to dinner. Cocktails with Baked Oysters were first and fabulous. I had the Duck Marchand deVin (topped with foie gras) entrée that was so tender and bursting with flavor. Served over rice w/sautéed spinach & mushrooms, delicious! My husband & I shared a desert, the slice of Key Lime Pie. It was decadent. A great finish to a wonderful day in New Orleans!
I love the pecan pie with praline crumble.
I ordered the lobster gnocchi and I found the flavor profile to be rich and over seasoned. For the entree I ordered the lobster stuffed flounder, and the flounder was dry from overcooking. The stuffing had excellent flavor with generous lobster pieces!
Booked a reservation at Emeril’s Delmonico on Open Table for a romantic dinner and had the best meal I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the Redfish which was mind-blowingly incredible. Starters included lobster ravioli, polenta and yummy corn bread. My husband had the bone-in ribeye and scallops and thought it was great. The banana's foster is so good! The atmosphere is elegant and refined without being stodgy. Dress smart casual and you will fit right in. We will return here on our next visit to New Orleans.
This was a good dining experience. Warm and welcoming greeting upon entrance. Wait staff very attentive to customer. The food was delicious. We had barbecue shrimp. They have cornbread to eat with it if you want to. Soooooo good. Used cornbread to dip in sauce. We also enjoyed the iceberg lettuce salad. I had Quail Clemenceau which was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My husband had Louisiana Drum Amandine which he enjoyed.
Excellent food.
