My girls and I were craving a hefty sandwich after a pub crawl and our guide had told us to come here if that’s something we were looking for during our tour. Even close to midnight it was pretty busy but no one waited long and everything was done super efficiently. There’s a ton of different goodies throughout the store and we picked up the perfect end of the night bite. The three of us shared a sandwich and it was so delicious and fresh and we still dream of it. Wish we tried more.
The "All that jazz" is just fantastic. It's a great, greasy, mess of a sandwich. I wouldn't have thought that the combination of ingredients would work, but it does. The only downside to this place is how claustrophobic the store feels. There's so little room that you feel like you're going to trip and knock the store apart.
Best sandwiches ever. Get the all that jazz and or TOASTED muffuletta SO THE cheese melts. Everything was yummy. Staff was very nice and knew what I should get. Once you order you can walk 2 blocks and sit on a bench by the river to eat!
My friends and I were completely blown away by how good the Muffuletta is! We all dream about flying back to get one every day.
We went for the dirty rice and jambalaya, which was also great.

Best Po-boy in New Orleans. Get ‘all that jazz’ if you’re unsure which to get. It’s a small deli/convenience store, with nowhere to sit so be prepared to take it out and find elsewhere to eat. Best eaten fresh!
My friends a poboy and steak fries from here. I didn't get anything cause I was saving my appetite for the oysters at Drago's. This place be super packed. They have any and every kind of poboy you can imagine. They also have alot of other options as well. I had a few fries and they were bomb. They said the shrimp poyboy was good. It's in the quarter and is open 24 hrs which is great after a long night of drinking lol. The only thing is be prepared to wait. It took about 20 mins to get the food but we weren't complaining cause it was fresh.
Feel like a local (atmosphere 5 stars for that). Very small deli/market with the best muffalatas. We always grab a bunch before hitting the airport home. Pick up only. Can order online.
The legendary verti mart. The muffaletta is a must, any of the poboys are also tasty. All that jazz is a classic. Everything is hugeeeee. You order at the cashier then go wait for your order in the back. Things get busy, be patient and kind to the staff and they will take care of you
Don't let the exterior and interior of the building fool you. The poboys here were amazingly delicious. Not your typical fried poboys. We ordered the house favorite "ALL THAT JAZZ" which had an incredible meat combination with shrimp. The ERNIES POWERHOUSE, had a blend of meats.. mostly pulled pork. Honestly reminded me of a Cajun Twist of the Florida's classic Cuban Sandwich! These subs are flavorful and may. IMO worth it! They are hearty 12 inch nice warm subs.... if you think otherwise let me kno why!
Super quaint small market with a deli inside. Small and crowded, but they packed so much in such a small space. Staff is friendly and happy to answer questions. And they were open late on Thanksgiving.
