This place is the absolute best. The Mexican food is delicious, fresh & authentic and the staff is AMAZING. You feel like family and all are welcome. Hugo, Erica, Eli, Edelin -- they are the best and the mariachi band is awesome. Can't say enough. It's worth it! Margaritas at happy hour are easily worth the price of admission. Nachos de carnitas TO DIE FORRRRR. We're there almost 2-3 times a week now.
Mezcal serves the best Mexican food I've tasted in years. Fresh ingredients, great portion sizes, good service and a mean margarita make it a great place to go- again and again!
Nice vibe, decent food, friendly service. Salsa Verde and the mole sauce will take you straight to Oaxaca. And— they have Bohemia beer!
Friendly, warm spot for above average to very good Mexican food. Prices are a tad high but not too bad. Portions are generous.
This is a cool, funky little Mexican restaurant. The server was awesome and the food and drinks were delicious. There weren't many people when I visited today so the food arrived at our table super fast. The drinks are all either tequila or mezcal based, and they have beers. There's just street parking and it seemed to be plentiful. There's cool art on the walls and tables to look at. Give this place a try if you're in the area and in the mood for Mexican. Also, just to note, they accept credit cards but they don't take Amex.
Excellent everything..authentic..must try it. I read some not so favorable reviews and want to make the point that this is AUTHENTIC, so not for TexMex fans. It was very clean, my husband is a stickler for this and even complimented them for it. Authentic means it won't be salty, you add it. And chips should be hearty and crisp, again not TexMex so if that is what you want..don't go. Free parking if you can grab it on the street, but $1 an hour if you use the lot right near.
