We had an absolutely amazing second birthday cake made by Darlene at about half the price of the big name bakers in town. Funny thing is they have all these fancy flavors but we are talking about a kids birthday party so we wanted a simple good cake that had the shape of train track in the two. She even through in a Thomas the train for the cake. It was great ! All of the guests loved our cake and it tasted way better than the big name baker we used the prior year. Very most confetti filled with whipped cream that was perfect for the toddlers and frosted with buttercream. This bakery is a hidden gem in Nashville !
We could not have been more please with our cake experience with Darlene's. After calling several bakeries in town, I finally found Darlene's. She was quick to answer any questions I had and after reviewing my pictures she promised to have a great cake ready for our son's second birthday. When we showed up to pick up the cake , we were simply amazed at what a great cake she made.I was better than the picture we sent her and she threw in a thomas the train topper. So sweet. Everyone at the party loved the cake ! Cake was delicious and we will be having Darlene bake more cakes.

I have been getting cakes from Darlene for 30 *yrs.. I have been more than satisfied. I remember telling her I wanted something special for my Pastor .. she said I got you. She created a Bible cake with his favorite verse... It was beautiful. I would recommend her to anyone...

WOW,...AWESOME. Darlene personally took my order over the phone; she was very considerate and helpful. Darlene is amazing! My husband and I recently used her for our wedding cake and could not have been happier with the service or the quality! Not only are her prices extremely reasonable, but the cakes she provides are absolutely delicious! She did an excellent job baking and decorating our cake, it was beautiful and classic!

The most beautiful wedding cakes that taste wonderful. He Dad is the sweetest. Darlene has been in Nashville longer than any baker that I know and she is the best.
I called her to see if she could do a Masonic cake for me on Wednesday to be done by Saturday for my husband's 50th birthday party. She told me to send her a picture and she could do it. I called her back on Thursday with a picture and she had it done on Saturday. I googled her and she was the best choice according to her reviews. The cake was beautiful and delicious. I will be using her again and refer her to family and friends. She was so friendly and caring. I had to call her and let her know how pleased I was.
I called Darlene at 1:30 and told her I needed a 50th wedding anniversary cake by 4pm. We forgot to order a cake!!!! Darlene went above and beyond and in a few hours we got a lovely white and gold 50th anniversary cake just in time for the party. It was perfect and delicious! Thank you for the emergency cake. We will definitely call you in the future.
Ps. My mother-in-law who was celebrating her 50th asked where we got the cake. When I said “Darlene’s” she immediately knew who it was because she ordered a few “emergency cakes” from Darlene when Darlene was located downtown. Everything in life comes full circle. Even delicious cake!
