Stay Golden

After a few bites of food into our breakfast, we asked each other how we had never heard of this wonderful place. I joined a friend here for one of my monthly breakfasts and we happened upon this place from a random mention of it by one of her friends. Again I ask: how has no one ever told me about this place? The place itself is super cute with multiple areas for seating. You are immediately ushered into the "order here" space when you walk in the door, so the flow works very well. You order your food and are given a number and directed to where the table is, and despite the fact that there is no "table service," there are plenty of employees walking around and able to help if needed. There is also a QR code at your table through which you can order additional food or drink and have it delivered directly to your table should you find out that the massive amount of food they brought you the first time was not enough. Seriously, the portions are huge. And one of the most exciting things for me was that they have gluten-free biscuits! I was able to get a biscuit meal at a restaurant. I got the green eggs and ham, which is a delicious play on the book. My base was a delicious gluten-free biscuit onto which they added ham and eggs with a chimichurri hollandaise sauce. You read that right. It was absolutely delicious! My friends got steak and eggs, and everything looked like it was cooked perfectly. She was not able to eat all of her food. Quite honestly, I probably should not have eaten all of mine... This spot will definitely be added to the regular breakfast rotation. Excellent spot!

My hot chicken and waffles were a bit overcooked for my taste and, nevertheless, cold. Coffee was ok, Mimosas - decent. The invitation to scan a code to order additional items didnt resonate with me that much and seems redundant in a presence of servers. The "bottomless" coffee is not, at least nobody (aka, a server) offered a refill. Plenty of seating, including outside.

Friend raved about the biscuits here and he wasn't wrong. They are perfect. Loved my breakfast sausage and would come back in a heartbeat.

Wanted to try this place for some time and today was the day. The wait in line was brief and was served shortly afterwards. The American breakfast didn't disappoint. The entire dish was presented perfectly and tasted delicious. Along with a vibe check ale and pineapple mimosa accompanied the meal perfectly.

Really enjoyable experience at Stay Golden! The atmosphere is chill, the baristas were helpful and pleasant. Very short wait on Friday around noon. The Southern Staple breakfast sandwich really hit the spot. The biscuits were perfect and the honey really complimented them. I liked the chicken thigh instead of white meat you can get at any other breakfast place. Will be back.
