I've eaten here since they first opened and it was only a counter inside the mercado, with one guy cooking and serving! They've come a long way in those 25 (?) years. I can honestly say the food is always good. It's my 'go to' Mexican place in Nashville. And yes just like any place the servers can have a bad night but overall I wouldn't keep coming back this many years if they weren't routinely the best.
Love this place. Everything I've had here was wonderful. Some of the best fresh guacamole I've had and the Sangria is great. Go hungry, because the portions are generous. Plus,I love the huge pictures of President Obama's visit two years ago proudly on display on the back wall. :)
I honestly did not know what to expect, as a Mexican chef I always reserve my judgment for my favorite foods, but wow. Across the board they checked all the boxes. Hot delicious food served in the blink of an eye, attentive and professional staff, and our waiter, Juan, absolutely perfect. Beginning to end impressed. Please do not sleep on La Hacienda, worth the visit and a great value all around. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

My chimichanga was great and the horchata was delicious but my husband’s nachos weren’t that great.
The food was perfect. Everyone really liked their meal. The service was great. I'll definitely be coming back.
We absolutely love this place! We have dined here too many times to count. No matter what we order, it’s always amazing. The staff is super cool and fun. I also feel like we don’t have to wait long at all for our food either. Just a great restaurant. I always recommend this one to our friends.
Great place to head after a day at the lake. High sodium and high calories but they don’t skip on the cheese! Fast and friendly service. There are usually loud patrons drinking pitchers of margaritas so I wouldn’t say dinners are super family friendly.
A delicious, cozy place full of regulars and welcoming to everyone.
Our favorites are the Chile Colorado, Chicken Nachos, and the Burrito Real - also the spicy margaritas.
They did mess up my delivery order, but they made up for it. Super nice and respectful! Food is amazing and they are very friendly. I would recommend!
Always the best experience here!! Have been a regular here for about 12 years now, and everything is always on point! Juan is usually our server and We LOVE him so much, he always makes our day!
Just like home! Great food and service from start to finish. A great chef once told me to always try the nopales first at any new restaurant, and if those are done right, you can bet they put the time and care into the rest of their food, too. This was especially true at LA Hacienda! Good prices, great portions and friendly service. The Molcajete Azteca was absolutely delicious!!! I cannot wait to go back and try more!
