Overall great food! Gluten free people are my comment at the end.
I had some takeout sushi tonight. Had a Super Crunch Roll and it’s a large roll, nearly twice the diameter as a normal roll and deep fried and just 5 pieces.Great tasting!
Also had Black Dragon Roll. Normal in size and nice amount of flavor.
I give them 5 stars for the actual rolls.
Now things I didn’t care for:
They just squished the rolls into the same containers you would see sushi in at the Kroger’s right next door. Seems less appealing. Also seems new i use to get it in a normal styrofoam container.
Only got a scoop of wasabi and ginger on one of the containers of sushi. I’m not a huge wasabi fan so it was just enough for me. The ginger I don’t care for at all, so not a big deal for me. Just makes sense to me and usually I get a scoop of each in each container.
No chop sticks! But i got three forks:-(
Also not a big fan of the actual interior of this restaurant. Seems more like a food court at the mall. Thus the reason I got my sushi to go.
Good food! The rest is just ok.
Gluten Free?!
Side note. Some items they have are suppose to be gluten free. My wife needs that option and recently she had a small device that can test the gluten level. Well let’s just say we will not get food here for her.
This is my favorite restaurant. They serve gluten free food and large portions. My favorite is the Walnut Shrimp with sauce on the side. Today, I wanted sweet n sour shrimp, but it's not on the menu, so I asked for the Walnut shrimp with sweet n sour on the side. It was delicious. I also live their Sesame balls (gin doi) I normally don't like red bean paste, but theirs is a little sweeter and I love them. They are always gluten free. I ear here whenever I come to town.

Chinese food is one of my favorites and yesterday I was looking for something close and convenient.
I took my grand daughter there for lunch, hoping she'd enjoy some noodles, rice or a chicken dish for her 3 year-old palate.
I ordered chicken and vegetable lo mein for her and egg drop soup and moo goo gaipan for myself, with a pot of hot tea.
The food was very good, served piping hot. My granddaughter especially liked my egg drop soup, of which I only got to eat a few bites. She enjoyed the lo mein, but was already quite full from the soup.
My dish was good also, full of fresh vegetables, mushrooms and nice white chicken pieces. Granddaughter also likes mushrooms, so many of them went to her.
The waitress was very nice and helpful serving a three-year-old. We were the only eat-in customers, but she remained attentive and cordial throughout our visit.
Suggestions for improvements would be to serve soup while customers are waiting on the main course. That way everything stays hot.
The decor of this restaurant hasn't changed in the 20 years I've lived here. Seats are worn and torn and the lighting is very dark.
I'd like to try the sushi and sashimi and see if it's as good as the other things I've tried.

Great food with excellent service. The young lady waiting tables at lunch is called Sunny. She is always kind and helpful!
I love this place! My boyfriend and I usually go on Sundays and I always look forward to it. I believe it used to be under different management/decor, and it can be easily overlooked. Make sure you check it out! Fast service, delicious food, good prices, huge portions, and Sunny the waitress (owner?) is wonderful.
THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO GET ASIAN FOOD IN BELLEVUE! I usually eat here at least twice monthly since the past 3 years I've lived here, and this place is seriously underrated. I have NEVER had a dish that was not excellent, and Sunny is an excellent server! So friendly! Anyone who complains doesn't like the specific dish itself, but the restaurant always produces quality product! A must-try restaurant.
We go to Dao once every other month for date night. We always have the same server. She's very kind and moves quickly. The food is always amazing and consistent. Highly recommend Shrimp or Chicken Mai Fun and the Sampler Appetizer.
My wife and I ate dinner here and the food was excellent. The egg drop soup was very good as was our entrees. My wife had the house special hot pot and I had the kung pao triple delight. The food was served hot and was spiced very well. Not sure about the review that said the food was bland.
The service was good and the place was clean. The prices were reasonable. Much better than a chain!!
