Oh my God, best tacos ever! Very quaint, awesome atmosphere, reasonable prices and the staff is very accommodating. To top it all, they have a very nice roof top bar overlooking the action on the strip. We ended up bypassing all other venues and went to the Cantina 3 times while visiting Nashville.
Great place for drinks & cheap tex mex type food. Their food menu is very small, great selection of beer, not many mixed drink options. The salsa is amazing, the cheese isn't traditional Mexican queso but it's still very good. The guacamole was fresh. Service was great especially for being a Friday evening. We sat on the rooftop. It didn't have a spectacular Nashville skyline view but it was a cute little rooftop. I suggest making reservations. There were only a few people on the roof when we arrived at 6:30 but by the time we left at 7:30 all the tables were full. I highly recommend this place.
Popped in for a quick lunch. Tacos and guacamole were very good. Service was good and servers were friendly. No live music, but that gave us peace to enjoy the food.
Had passed by this place several times while on different trips to Nashville. Boy do I wish I had stopped in sooner! My wife and I had the most delicious tacos we have had in quite some time and were able to sit on the rooftop bar next to the street. Looking at this place from the outside is deceiving due to it being small and located right beside an alley with trash dumpsters. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service from the staff. If I could give any advice to the owners of this place it would be clean up the alley or at least put a privacy gate up so it isn't such an eye sore. Everything else about the visit was excellent and the restrooms were clean.
Oh my goodness was this by far the best tacos, nachos I have ever had. Delicious, fresh, creamy. You must not contemplate this choice just go!! And be sure to ask for Steven on the roof top!
Pretty cool place, tasty margaritas and food. Went all the way to the rooftop and it was nice as well. Great place to grab a bite before you adventure down the rest of Broadway.
My girlfriend had raved about this place ever since I met her, so of course it was the first place we went in Nashville. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was even better than she had described! We stared with margaritas and it was easy to see why they had all of the “best margaritas” awards on display. My concerns with eating tacos while so far away from the Southwest were put to ease after the first bite! Meat was expertly cooked, vegetables were crisp and delicious, and the garnishments were flavorful. We ended up coming back the next day and sat on the second floor overlooking the arena which was pleasant, although the food and drink selection is a little bit more limited as you get away from the main kitchen. All in all a place that I will be going back to as soon as I am in Nashville again.
Great food, small quiet place just around corner off Broadway. Lots of history in this building. Staff was very friendly. Tacos were off the chain . Wish it was a chain and they had them in Texas
Enjoy amazing Tacos and some of the best Fire Roasted Tomatoe Salsa you will ever eat! While dining you will be in the Oldest Building Still Standing in Nashville! The Interior, with its history alone, is worth the visit but you get to have Fantastic food too! Bonus!
The Margaritas some of the best I have had! Tacos were delicious! And our bartender, who was also our server, was excellent! Would come back every trip to Nashville
