Ordered a gender reveal cake and the cake was outstanding!! It was done perfectly as I ordered and tasted even better!!! Not to mention the staff were incredibly sweet when I walked in. Would definitely recommend and this is now my go-to bakery!
I’ve been incredibly busy with work and forgot to get my fiancé a cake for his birthday. I stopped in this bakery last minute to pick him up a cake and I was so glad I did! Everyone was so kind and they offered to make a custom banner to make it look like I didn’t forget to get him a cake! Thank you all so much for the cake, he loved it!

Bought 2 King Cakes today and asked for the “baby” to be in, but the baby was “out”. Cake was still great but defeated the purpose because whoever gets the baby in the cake buys the cake the next year. So I guess I’m buying the cakes two years in a row. They also did not tell us that it was cash only when I placed the order via phone a couple weeks ago. We had just gotten back from a trip at midnight last night and didn’t have much cash so husband gave them all the rest that we had and then had to make another stop at the bank on an already crazy day. Who doesn’t take credit cards in 2023? I know they charge a fee, but pass that along to your customers via pricing. SO not convenient especially when not given a heads up at time of ordering. We ordered our wedding cake here 12 years ago and I don’t recall that they only allowed cash at that time, but I guess it’s possible. It was an hour drive for us to get there as well since off beaten bath. The inconveniences were still worth the taste of the cake, but just be prepared to deal with them.
The carrot cake is very good. The individual pastries were delicious. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They made a change I wanted to a cake with a smile. We will be back to try the red velvet cake. They decorate it with strawberries in the frosting. Blessings for continued success. 😇
We had our wedding cake from Mikkelsen’s Pastry Shop and it was beyond perfect! Elizabeth, Rebecca and team were a pleasure to work with. Our cake not only looked gorgeous, it also tasted delicious!
I’m not one to give reviews but this shop truly deserves it! I was preparing an intimate milestone birthday. My go to bakery failed me and I was cakeless! I called this shop with hopes they would take my order for the next day. As promised they made a gorgeous cake, beautifully decorated and it tasted AMAZING! This bakery has my business for all of my future events.
The cakes they've made for me and my family are beautiful and taste great. Never had an issue and were always willing to help load it into my vehicle. Great prices and would definitely buy from again.
Okay I'm going to tell you right now that this was probably the best key lime pie I ever had! My friend recommended the shop and we stopped in and met the owner who was one of the nicest ladies I've ever met. I ordered a pie for a birthday, key lime and it was ready when expected and looked outstanding. It was a surprise after dinner that night and everyone absolutely loved it. This is now my go-to place for pies and pastries. Great job ladies!
Absolutely the best tasting and looking cakes anywhere in the area! My daughter wanted a squirrel cake for her birthday and boy did they deliver a perfect (and delicious) squirrel cake! It's the only bakery I'll ever use!
