A friend suggested we try this place and it is now our new favorite restaurant. The food has been great and the waiters have been as well. Love to sit out on the terrace overlooking the putting green. So very peaceful and relaxing. Best chicken wings ever! I know we’ll be visiting on a weekly basis.
Really nice place in a beautiful golf setting. The happy hour prices are good and we had a couple appetizers. First class place with great help.
Tucked away in lely is this great spot for lunch/dinner and a view. Nice happy hour at the bar. The window seats are definitely the best. We had Aldo as our server and he was very attentive and very nice. My 10 year old son loved interacting with him as well. We had a golf course view with a delicious dinner. My son loved the bread as well. Thank you for the great service. Everything was very clean and the host was also very nice.
Sixty people enjoyed a great lunch at Sam Snead's Tavern with excellent service. We enjoyed the golf course view and dining in AC comfort on this sweltering day. The food was enjoyable too. Perfect event venue.

We had a Ruben sandwich it was top notch also.
Food was excellent. Would highly recommend the Guac and Chips because the chips are baked with some cheese that basically makes a really nice nachos. Also had the Yellowtail Snapper which was excellent. Say outside and enjoyed the sunset and a rainbow. Atmosphere was great and the service was spot on. Food came out really quick and as ordered.
First of all Aldo was absolutely amazing as our server ! He made great suggestions and advice based on questions he asked us about what we would like to eat. He made my dining experience exceptional. As one of Southwest Florida's pickiest diners he made number one on my list. Food was high grade and the golf view was amazing.

This is an amazing restaurant. Food is always excellent. The waitstaff are very attentive. The decor is all Sam Snead..it's an incredible tribute to his life and profession, a collection of museum-quality equipment and photographs. We are never disappointed.
Alda was a fantastic server. He made for a wonderful dining experience. Can’t wait to come back again.
Sam Snead's Tavern at Lely Resort is a great place with great employees and great views, along with a good menu. However, the decor reminds me of a 1970s Las Vegas Strip luncheonette. It's obviously in need of a facelift; if nothing else, please clean the dust-filled ceiling vents and address the emerging mold issue in the center of the bar area ceiling, as well as a very much needed paint job and new ceiling tiles. It would make a huge difference in the outdated decor. Other from that I love the place. P.S. Give Kim a raise
