Great atmosphere, smoking patio...good prices. Super good food shrimp and steak tacos. The burger is huge. There is vegan patties too.. must go location
Honestly one of the best bars in the area. I've been coming here for years and it never let's me down!! Highly recommend getting food and drinks and seeing live bands play!!

It's Minneapolis Uptown original dive bar. A place you can call your own. Cheap drinks and food by the pound. Rib night is so worth it. Awesome happy hour. 😊
Dive bar in Minneapolis, good happy hour, inviting atmosphere but only if your up for it, live music room, pinball and darts, hood food and pizza.
Very interesting dynamic. I'm giving a better review for the service. The atmosphere while very subtle and relaxed for a bar still lacks much ambiance or liveliness. The place is completely open, almost empty besides the bar in the center and pinballs machines along the back wall.
More seating at the bar than anywhere else
I ordered something very minimal here so I don't have high expectations but the quality is not anything above the ordinary to say the least. More sauce than toppings. Which for some is preferred but for me is unjustly. Again you pay for what you get as any where.
I wouldn't call this place a disappointment but it's not pleasing enough to return again. Unless you're just a regular bar goer for a couple drinks and small talk.
I went for open mic on Friday nights! It was pretty chill. The bar area is smaller than most but still satisfied with the drinks. The venue for open mic was well closed off from general bar chatter, though there was frequent interruptions from servers going from the main floor to the kitchen. So less than ideal conditions but Sidney the host was top notch with his talent and equipment and friendly attitude. It’s a free show and I highly recommend.
It's a nice little neighborhood bar. People are very friendly. Staff is excellent. I will visit them again.
Mortimer's is legendary. The foods great, the staffs second to none. From security to bartenders and everyone in between, they are all exceptional. This might actually be my favorite bar of all time.
This place.... Has characters and character. Lol! Pinball machines were a blast. Bathrooms are covered in graffiti and unsavory phrases that will make you laugh and cringe. Staff was great. For sure a place that locals hang out, we were definitely eyeballed upon our arrival but accepted into the herd after striking up a conversation at the bar while ordering drinks.
