I've been eating here 25+ years and it's my favorite place to get a sandwich!!! I always stop when I'm in the neighborhood, and it's worth a special trip to get into the neighborhood for lunch!
I absolutely love Nelsons Cheese. My favorite sandwich is the Hero (hot or cold) or the meatball.. it's a must try..
I was planning to take a few pictures inside but was unable since it was PACKED. I feel that's always a good sign when a little hole in the wall place has a line almost out the door.
I absolutely loved the relaxed environment. There's a huge menu written out and easy to read (also available online). I got the Nelson wrap and a pickle (highly recommended by the man in front of me in line).
The wrap is the best cold sandwich wrap I've probably ever had. Fresh veggies, good meat/cheese/veggie/sauce ratio.
The pickle comes pre cut which I think helps prevent pickle juice from leaking down your hand hahaha.
I'm just disappointed I didn't try this place sooner. I will definitely be back and will be recommending it to people also.
Cheese is my favorite food and I'm excited to return and browse the selection.
Clean bathrooms, with fun wallpaper. Staff is entertaining. Food is good, just nothing special. Prices are perfect.

Well well! Very well! Service was nice but hunny these sandwiches didn’t stand a chance! When I say FRESH I MEAN JUST THAT!!!! The potato salad was a hit too! Great food, friendly service and clean tables!! From Tuna melts to Ruben's to buffalo chicken wraps, they truly have something for everyone! Nelson's is a must try.
Absolutely great quality food, at a great price. Big selection of sandwiches, pasta salads, cheese etc. Will definitely be on my regular cadence of lunch spots.

This is the greatest sandwich I ever have so far. I all ways live by near to this place barely paying attention to this place. I did try two days before ands it’s really good and I did try today too and it’s still really good so there are doing something good here whatever it is keep the good job going guys.
