Runyon’s is always a great spot to grab a quick lunch, cold beer, or cocktail. They have a very large outdoor patio but somewhat limited indoor seating for larger parties. There is a limited menu here but they food they offer is always delicious and they’re know for their wings. The staff is always friendly and attentive and the food is fast, making this an ideal spot for a midday lunch from work.

This place was poggers not gonna lie. Today I went climbing with friends (Elyas, Thomas, Le) then we came here. Thomas said they had the best rated wings in Minneapolis and boy they did not disappoint. Some notable features from tonight included below.
Environment: 5/5 There were many aesthetic photos on the wall, nice bar area, as well as some booths to sit at and chit chat. It also smelled pretty good (like wings)
Speed: 3.5/5 It didn’t seem super busy when we went, but the wings took a little longer to come out than I expected. It wasn’t like slow, but not fast either so just an average rating here.
Water: 3.5/5 You can probably ask for ice, but when we were served water, there was none. This might have affected the viscosity, which seems a little higher than normal water. It was a little sticky, but it was pretty cold, so it evened out.
Wings: 5/5 This was definitely the highlight of the night the wings were fire. They were nice and hot and had the perfect amount of sauce on them. We got the party pack (30 wings for $40) and split it. It came with celery and blue cheese. The blue cheese was chunky for those that light that. The celery was nice and fresh.
One random thing: Apparently online says they close the kitchen at 9 (nine) but we called and they said 9:45.
Overall it was a great experience and I would come here again and enjoy myself. Not gonna lie, I feel like I could have some crazy conversations and get deep in those booths. Time passes differently at this place.
Damn good wings and fantastic service. Great beer selection too! Love that celery comes with wings (not like BWWs where you have to pay) We like heat and enjoyed the "too hot" sauce. Not crazy spicy but has a nice roundness to the heat. We'll be back!
Found this place via a excel spreadsheet someone had made and posted on Reddit, using 25 different data points to determine the best wing place in the cities. Runyon's wings are bigger and have more meat per $ than any wing place I've been to. Their wing sauce is exceptionally good. Highly recommend.
Best spot for wings & fries in North Loop/downtown Minneapolis! They also have a nice selection of beers on tap, as well as canned options. The service is also fantastic! So good - we visited two Fridays in a row!
Wings were delicious, so was the house bleu cheese. I can't give half stars but the only knock I had was I thought the wings would be a little larger. Flavor is there thouugh
Came here on a Sunday around 1pm. Virtually no traffic at this time, plenty of parking in the adjacent paid lot ($5 for 2 hours). Ordered the wing basket, looked like the only sauce offering was buffalo (which is fine by me, that's exactly what I wanted). Wings were very large in comparison to most I've had elsewhere, moist, well-covered but not drenched in sauce. Flats came with wing tips, drums were separate. Wings weren't breaded (a positive in my mind), but maybe weren't as crispy as to have been absolutely perfect. The sauce is everything I expect from a buffalo sauce, not too hot, buttery, with the correct flavor profile. Simply excellent.
The fries were also very good, nothing mind blowing, but far better than average.
I'll definitely be coming back. Easily one of the better buffalo wing spots I've found, may end up being the best in the city. I'd be surprised to find better.
Got the legendary wings and they didn't disappoint. The burgers were the surprise, fantastic seared smashed patties. Service was terrific and very friendly. Highly recommend
Always a great spot for food and a cold Guinness...or anything you want - full bar with great bartenders!

This place has incredible wings and the staff are very friendly and explain the menu in detail. They're known for their wings so make sure to get a basket. You won't regret it.
