Recently went for a working lunch. Great service, great drinks, great food, great wifi! They are also the best late night spot- full menu until 2am!
This place has wonderful, creative & amazing food. Menu changes everyday (see chalkboard menu). You will not be disappointed. Ask for Jake “the bitchy waiter”
I love the comfortable atomosphere at Eli's East. The steak benedict was awesome with a yogurt parfait as an included side. I've never had such perfectly poached eggs in my life! My server was very patient and friendly.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this brunch Eli’s! From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Tiffany, our server, was exceptional. She not only provided impeccable service but also made our child's day by taking him on a tour of the kitchen. This level of warmth and kindness was unmatched. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to everyone. 5 stars all the way!
Late post. Was here a month ago and it's still as good as I remembered it. Still one of my go tos and staff are amazing. Husband and I decided to try something different. Husband got the grilled cheese and creamy tomato basil while I got the meat loaf with asparagus & mash potatoes (sauce was the best part of it but there wasn't enough of it). Overall, everything was great.
We went there for our first wedding anniversary and we love the food 😋
Cute little restaurant and bar in NE Mpls. Sat at the bar and the service was great, usually is! I started with some not so bubbly sparkling wine but still tasted fine and we ordered a few small plates to get a taste of what they have. Taco was small but pretty good, love that you can order 1 or a dozen, the crab cake was more cake then crab with red pepper sauce, I prefer my crab cakes with more lump crab vs shredded crab that just blends with batter, and the not so creamy banana cream pie; it was more of a cheesecake style dessert, still tasted good just different then I was expecting. The bananas on top were delicious and worth fighting over!
Enjoyed a lunch with our oldest here as he liked the Eli’s downtown. It didn’t disappoint as we all enjoyed different menu items including California burger, Pastrami, Mac and cheese, and tomato soup. All were very good and the service was very responsive and helpful.
I went out to eat lunch with a group of friends on a Sunday, and they were able to seat us all together comfortably even though we hadn't made reservations or checked to see how busy they were. And when we got there, it was clear that they are a popular establishment. The food was very good (with a variety of choices) and the service was friendly and helpful.
I love Eli's east. Wonderful food, wonderful servers. Excellent ambiance. My only complaint is that it can get a bit loud when busy, but what restaurant doesn't. I go here with my partner for special occasions and we love it every time.
First time here. Service was fantastic. Food was delicious. Bruschetta as an appetizer. Steak & Cake as my entree. Bar drinks were good. MinneApple...mmmm!
