Fun, modern, exciting place to mingle and relax. Right in Lobby of Saint Kate's Hotel.
Artwork galore. Glamorous cultural place to visit after performance at Marcus Performing Arts Center.
My husband and I were looking to grab a quick bite before a show at the Rep and had a wonderful experience...primarily, in part, because of our amazing server, Alayna. She is truly one of THE best servers out there...genuine, efficient, accommodating (despite being extremely busy, Alayna offered to track down goat cheese from another floor as the pizza kitchen had run out), and knowledgeable. We deferred to Alayna on our menu selection and could not have been more pleased (chili oil, oh my!!). The Bar had live music that enhanced the atmosphere but still allowed for conversation...and The Bar never disappoints as a venue for great people watching!!! A huge shout-out to Alayna for making the night extra-special!!

The service was absolutely amazing. All I order was a Gingerale with no ice and the bartender Garrett made me feel like I was a regular customer. Service with a smile
It's such an amazing and great experience. Love the jazz and music night.
Incredible bar in a hotel. Couldn't of had a better breakfast
Wait staff was prompt, curtious, professional.
The vibe is whimsical with art on display everywhere.
Try the Kilbourn 🍸. It's delicious.
Absolutely love it. The best tequila sunrise I ever had. The atmosphere is wonderful and people are so friendly. I was here for a race and decided to hang out downstairs at the bar and I definitely don't regret it. They also have great pizza there too. Shout out to Lisa and Eder. I am excited to be back for my last race in three weeks and see all of you! Thank you!
Great place a nice custom cocktail or beer! 🍹🍻 They also have a pianist on the weekends with some live musicians. Such a fun place to chill with friends and family. Let's not for the beautiful hotel.
Nice place to check out if you near the downtown Milwaukee.

This is a truly fantastic place in the city, but there are two big strikes against it. First, they are always so busy (even weeknights) that the service staff is rushing around frantically. Bar tenders forget orders, which makes it iffy for a pre-ballet or other show tipple. Second, and this is the larger complaint for me, is that they over-amplify their nightly live music. If you don't have excellent hearing already, or if you're with a group that likes to talk, stay away after dark.
Originally came here to view the art galleries, ended up staying for drinks and live music on a Saturday evening. Beautiful bar/lounge with high ceilings and unique decorations.
I particularly liked the gold hands on the curtains; I admit the busts on the end table were sort of creepy but made for a good laugh.
Wonderful live music, great people watching, and the art on display in the galleries was packed with progressive messages from diverse artists.
Kudos to the bartenders who were very busy, but attentive and knowledgeable. Even the staff at the reception was friendly.
Take out pizza was very affordable, oven-fired and delicious.
Highly recommended this place for a night out.
