My favorite local ice cream spot. Especially on Sundays so I can get lemon ice cream: come early so you don’t have to wait in line long. All of the prices are reasonable and the food is good.
I have loved this place since I was a child. Still, the best ice cream in town. The line be so long, but it is worth the wait.
I LOVE TASTEE TWIST and have LOVE IT since I was a child in the neighborhood! I lived on 14th & North in the Green & White house that still stands today and I use to walk across the field to get Ice Cream and Granddaddy use call me the TWINKLE KOAT GIRL, which I still get everytime I go there. GOOD MEMORIES, GOOD ICE CREAM AND BLACK OWNED! I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY DAUGHTER EVERY SINCE SHE WAS A BABY AND NOW SHE IS 13 YEARS OLD. HOPEFULLY THE TRADITION WILL FOLLOW WITH HER CHILDREN AND GENERATIONS AFTER!
The lemon flavor ice cream available on Sundays is a delightful treat. The wings are good too.

I’ve been coming here since I was 17 years old and as of today I am 36 years old. My favorite item I still get is a medium or large twinkle ✨ kote I’ll get the chocolate/vanilla twisted ice cream or just vanilla; with extra extra kote 🙌🏽✨😍😍❤️❤️🦄🦄🦄. The season cheese 🧀 fries 🍟 are good 😋
Very smooth creamy icecream. Had a great taste too it. You get a lit of icecream for your money. Large diverse menu. And its black owned!
I have been coming here since I was about 5 years old. One of the best long standing Black owned businesses. I will travel for the ice cream. Lines can be long but worth it.
I love this place! My kids ice cream fell right after they gave it to them and the owner gave my kid a new ice cream. Great place to stop in the summer. Really nice people that work there.
