My sister's and I went there for brunch 😋 I am a very picky eater. I had Smothered Pork Chops with rice and gravy; sweet candied yams side of greens. Served with hot water cornbread !! This was definitely 💯 👌🏽 🔥. Moms definitely in the kitchen cooking for real. ❤
Of Course I Enjoy My Soul Food Cooking the Best, But When You're just not feeling it, You do What you have to do! The food was hot. Everything was to my liking. Service was Nice. I like the establishment. The parking is horrible. They will outgrow them quickly. Atmosphere was perfect, relaxing, inviting and full of 💖 I ordered catfish, fried chicken, greens, sweet potatoes, Mac n cheese and dressing. ALL FOR ME❗💪🏾
I really like this place. The service is outstanding! The food is good and prices are reasonable. The restaurant is bigger, then i thought. I ordered the fried catfish. It was good, but not the best. But nonetheless, the sides still makes up for it. I would come here for the smothered pork chops and sides any day. If you are looking for a soul food place with awesome service, this is the place!
Good food go early for fresh options. Prices are ok for quality. Nice option if your looking for something out of the ordinary fast food. Homestyle cooking is always a better alternative. Desserts are excellent and yams are really delicious. Chicken is really great pancakes are excellent.
If you want home cooking meals when your just not in the mood to do it yourself this is the place to go. It's always my go too when I want something smothered and not fried..and I love the hot water cornbread that's something you don't get dall the time.
Our server was nice and gave us plenty of time even though we came in late. The food was amazing and super fresh, everything was home made! Would recommend!! Such a nice place and such nice people!
Let’s first start off by saying Great customer service food came out fresh, hot and fast and the food was delicious my favorite was the catfish , yams, and greens sis you clowning in that kitchen 😂
Ordered two different dishes fried catfish with Mac and cheese,greens,dressing. the fish was perfect the Mac was very distasteful/bland the greens we also unsatisfying which is very disappointing when paying so much for a plate that doesn’t include a drink the other plate ordered was smothered pork chop Mac and cheese yams the pork chops were pretty darn good like stated before the Mac was very bland and the yams okay.. just okay very sweet as expected but just didn’t have the it factor also order the bannana pudding very good overall $34 wasted because the sides were just not what I was looking for
Whenever I'm in Milwaukee, this is ONE of my "go to spots" for soul food and never being disappointed! I've almost ordered everything on the menu at this point and there's nothing I wouldn't order again. But FIRST...I gotta complete the menu! Lol
