This place is very nice, although we came at a time when not so busy. The staff was very professional and friendly. They have this appetizer called "ultimate nacho" and it really is perfect. I recommend
I don't know why this location has such bad reviews. My food was ready on time. It was hot and sauced the right way. Even my fries and onion rings were still hot. My celery and carrots were even fresh. The only real problem these days are the prices. But what can we do about it now?
Honestly! The staff at the Water Street location had always been great. On this trip (well 2 trips actually) they were exceptionally great. I was in and out of there twice in the matter of 4 hours placing 4 orders for the volunteer staff of Keeping It 💯 Men's Conference that was taking place at Miller High Life Theater. It was nearly 20 different people I was offering for and they were patient with me. And everyone got what they ordered. In addition to bagging the food up, they even found a box to put it in to help me carry it easier. It's service like this that makes it easier for me to drive across town to eat here instead of going to the location closest to me. Now if they had control of the parking that would be the icing on the cake. 😉
This is an unappreciated place. The service has always been stellar for us and the food has been phenomenal. I know this is weird to say, but try their Bloody Mary’s. Their mix is phenomenal!! We actually buy their mix. The traditional wings are awesome. If you like extra crispy, they will bring you a sample out to make sure it is done enough for you. I have never had a place do that. We like sitting up at the bar and Kamisha always takes care of us. She makes sure everything is good and if it isn’t, she corrects it. For a chicken place, the burgers are absolutely phenomenal!! Come in with an open mind and try something new. I know they care, and you have to realize that they are downtown, so things can get a bit crazy. Just have fun and enjoy the food!!
If I'm being honest, I felt right at home here, Ellen was great! It's hard to find a good bar/restaurant that serves anything more than a plate full of carbs, but we found the perfect Cobb salad and it was amazing. If the owner is reading this, Ellen deserves a raise!
I was hesitant to stop here due to the bad reviews, but I really wanted wings and it was walking distance from my work site. I was pleasantly surprised with both the food and the service.
There was no wait to be seated and my colleague and I were promptly greeted by our waitress. She was very friendly and quick to bring us our drinks and appetizer. She checked back frequently until we were ready to order.
The food didn't take long and it was hot and tasted fresh. I would go back to this location again.
