This coffeehouse is one of several gourmet coffee and food emporiums in the Milwaukee area. They are really the only coffee shops that I go to. They have many many varieties of Coffees from around the world. Beans and coffee are of higher quality than most coffee shops. This particular coffee shop on Prospect Avenue in Milwaukee has a very large seating area in the main room, and the multilevel side seating room. During warmer weather, the side room is open to the air and there is also outside seating as well. One of the great things about these coffee shops is that they are adequately staffed, meaning that you can usually find at least 5 or 6 people working behind the counter at any given time. They also have a good food service. There is a concert hall in the back area that is open when they have live entertainment. The large staff also ensures that the coffee shop is immaculately clean, both inside and out. The staff is friendly and helpful. The clientele is everybody and that really helps too. I myself am very picky about the coffee shops that I go to and also the coffee that I drink. Cheap coffee has negative effects upon my body, and these coffee shops do not even deal with cheap coffee. It's all high-quality. I have been going to Their different coffee shops for years and I am very uncomfortable drinking coffee anywhere else, or getting my coffee anywhere else, As they have a very wide selections of bags of coffees to go. I cannot recommend these coffee shops highly enough. Why settle for less?
Really a great experience as a music venue and super waitstaff as well. Saw Sean Watkins, who I've seen previously at 2 other, much larger venues. It was so intimate and comfortable, almost like having Sean in my living room. The young woman preparing the food went above and beyond with my couple requests and did so very pleasantly. A great concert in this listening room.
I think the coffee and prices are better than Starbucks, the service was good, and the atmosphere is great. Theirs indoor and outdoor seating. You can also purchase coffee to make at home. Theirs a wider selection of things to eat here than Starbucks. The coffee I had tasted great 👍
I’m in the area multiple times a week and am always surprised by how crazy the Colectivo on Lincoln Memorial is when this one seems pretty low-key - though I get wanting to be close to the water, more outdoor seating, parking lot… but this one is a gem. Light atmosphere with high ceilings keep the coffeehouse vibe without feeling stuffy or cramped, and you still have the craftsmanship that Colectivo is known for (this handle on the bathroom included, though obviously that’s not why you’re coming). It was later in the day and I cut off caffeine early, but their strawberry basil matcha spritz will be next on my list!
very cute. unique drinks, flavors and treats. decorated very cute. places like this have a much more personal feel then a large franchise.
Headlining performers: The Dead Tongues @the Back Room.
A converted garage, the intimate venue/coffee house has a great feeling to it. There is a food and drink menu and a separate bar in the back where they showcase live music. Chairs are a, uh, thing- not for the faint of heart. Establishment closes at ten and so do the concerts. Coffee and tea is fantastic and the service is 👌☕🍵
Bacon 🥓 biscuit = not worth the 940 calories
Love Supreme pour over coffee ☕️ = 5 ⭐️’s and reminds me of the original Starbucks in Seattle where I always order the Pike Place pour over. Watching the pour over process never fails to captivate me in a meditative like state too!

Colectivo Coffee has plenty of seating, wonderful WiFi, helpful staff(Sean was great!), and an awesome selection of coffee, shirts, teas, and other gifts for sale.
Love to go to the coffee place to see how awesome coffee could actually be my wife loved it. Great pastries overall just great.
Collective is just awesome. This location has an industrial vibe, amazing murals and lots of places to sit. Its kinda like a nostalgic return to the 60s and a cafe were union workers would hang out! The cup designs and colors are great too and indicate the owners think things through and care about coffee! I usually get the Americano which is the same price for all cup sizes.
One star off for the fruit flies. Happens to almost my every visit. Staffs are welcoming. Many seats.
Cozy spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry of your choice. Lots of gluten free offering, too. That's nice to think of others.
Love this place! The food and coffee is always good, and the staff are wonderful!
