If you are looking for really amazing Italian food in Milwaukee, here's your champion. Delicious salads, and huge too. Appetizers are delish, and risotto balls are out of this world! Pizza, pasta, and everything on the menu is worth a try — nice bar with some local beer selections on tap.
All the staff we talked to or interacted with were friendly and seemed happy to be there — one of our new favorites for some great Italian food.
Great restaurant in Milwaukee! The carbonara and pizza was delicious and the drinks were amazing. Such a fun place great for dates. The brunch was amazing too... Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in MKE!
Great atmosphere! Don't come hungry because it takes a little longer to get the food, but I loved it since I could enjoy the time. I definitely recommend DiModa Pizza.
When it's good, it's great, but occasionally, the food misses its own mark. For example, the meatballs are fantastic (my wife says, almost as good as here, and that's saying something!). But we went over nights and got them (with the spaghetti this time) and something was off. Not terrible, not even bad, just not as good as usual. She didn't eat them, but I had them for lunch the next day.
They do have excellent pizza with some original toppings and great crust, we love that. I've also had their lasagna and been very impressed.
Must be good, since we keep going back ;-).
Last night was the first time I went here, I’m not happy that I waited this long, I went for a networking event and had a few drinks. The decor was awesome and I ordered a pizza to go when I left called the schroom I believe, GET IT. Best I have ever had, the sauce omg it was good. The owner also gave me a tour and showed me the wood fire oven and told me the history of it, we are luck to have a pizza place that really cares about quality downtown! Keep it up guys!
DiModa's pizza is amazing. My husband and I ate there three times before deciding to host our wedding welcome party in their Garden Room in October, 2018. Megan helped us coordinate our event, and was extremely responsive and helpful. On the night of our party, the food, service and atmosphere were incredible! We had about 65 people at our event. The Garden Room is a beautiful space, and the staff's attention to detail was immaculate. All of our guests (none of whom are from Milwaukee) raved about the pizza. Our event at DiModa was one of the highlights of our wedding weekend. I would recommend DiModa for lunch, dinner or a large or small event. We couldn't be happier with our experience!
Great atmosphere/location and delicious pizzas, appetizers and sangria! Perfect patio space for happy hour (also allows dog with a dog menu) and awesome brunch menu. Love bringing friends from out of town here to experience a bit of Milwaukee!
So glad we found this gem! On vacation and always looking for atleast one local pizza place for dinner with our girls. Could not have been more pleased! Staff was great (management and service), the restaurant is very nicely done (both inside and outdoor seating)and the food was delicious. It is a very nice Italian restaurant (so more than just pizza!) Very cozy, yet refined. DiModa was wonderful... here in town a few more days and might just have to stop by again to try out more of the menu.
Love the atmosphere inside, actually prefer it to the patio. Server was energetic and attentive. Went to dinner around 6:30 on a Saturday without a reservation, and was able to sit immediately. Great drinks and pasta entrees.
The pizza here is great! They have plenty of options as well as a build your own pizza. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Pizzas are big enough for 2 to share if you’re not ravenous, but would suggest everyone get their own and take the rest home if you’re looking to try some of their unusual combos. Little known deal: on Tuesdays if you buy a full pizza you get a free 40oz beer (Miller High Life or PBR) when you dine in. Only thing I would say is parking is pretty rough around there so Uber/Lyft if you can!
