I've been to Hector's a handful of times and will continue to return. Very small and definitely a simpler menu but food is delicious. If you're looking for something more expensive and fancier, hit up Bel-air. Hector's may not have the atmosphere of some of it's competitors but if you just want a belly full of yummy Mexican, it hits the spot and it's cheaper than a lot of the trendier places in the Milwaukee area.

Great fish tacos. I can understand why some people wouldn't like this place but I thought it was ok. Fresh salsa and fish tacos were very good but a little more expensive than I expected
Fantastic Mexican! Any of the combo plates, carnitas, tamales for appetizers. Good margaritas too, they don't skimp in tequila and are generous with complimentary 'rita coups to friendly patrons.
Great Happy Hour. This was one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. Fresh salsa, great margaritas, good tortillas.
Lots of vegetarian options too.
Happy hour is every day from 4-6 and there are great deals on margaritas and appetizers.
Great stop for some Mexican dishes. Not special inside, but the service was good, food was plentiful and tasty. Loved the salsa that came with chips when we sat down. I had carne asada tacos and they hit the spot with a Dos Equis. Check it out.
One of my favorite haunts in Tosa. Great service in a very friendly atmosphere. Try the BBQ chicken burrito and the fish fry tacos.
Always great. Staff and food are amazing. Love the margarita of the month. Chips and salsa are solid. Cheese and onion enchiladas with extra sauce hit every time. Good wings.
Second time here, won't be the last. Sat at the bar both times and the bartenders were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The Guac is fantastic, Salsa is so fresh and all the good is superb! Margaritas hit just right. I cant wait to try more of the menu!
This is my most favorite Mexican restaurant. Silly, but I always get the same food. It's been delicious for the last 20 years....drinks are awesome, too!
Nice small Mexican restaurant in the village of Wauwatosa. Food is good. Surprisingly the Tuesday taco specials are larger than most places! I ordered 4 thinking that they were the typical small ones. Took 2 home.
Great food (definitely get generous portions!) and a good atmosphere, what more is there to say?
Barbacoa tacos and chorizo are delicious, but then again so was everything else we tried!

Their food is fantastic. Its extremely solid, tasty Mexican food for a very good value. The service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is a little low end honestly speaking, but I personally find the small, family style restaurant charming. Would definitely recommend. By far the best Mexican food around. Don't miss out on this gem.
We go here all the time. An unassuming, unpretentious gem. Friendliest service in the entire village. Shredded beef tacos, tamales, and the customizable nachos are standouts on the menu but I've loved everything I've tried. Lovely patio too.
