We have been going here for over 15 years. Still our favorite. Nothing fancy but you will be greeted with a smile, have some fabulous home cooked dishes & the Kheer (rice pudding kinda) is a must have!!!
Only place we go for Indian food.
Super flavorful and balancing flavors. The ginger naan was awesome and unique!!!
Veg Thali did not disappoint! And the gobi paratha was perfect. I really like their spice level as well.
The food was absolutely fantastic! We had samosas, lamb curry, and the non-veg (chicken) sampler, with extra naan, and it was ALL delicious.
Dining room is pleasant and unpretentious, but any perceived lack of glamour is more than worth the trade-off for the wonderful food. I can't wait to come back!
My friend Keaton told me to go here...boy was I glad he did! This place is my new hub for Indian food in the MKE area. Nice people and great service. The saag paneer was out of this world, I got 2 orders. Can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu!
Best Indian food I've ever had! I know, strong words, but true. I am so happy to be back in the greater Milwaukee area. Despite many good Indian restaurants in San Antonio, I could never find one that tasted as good as Tandoor. The food is so delicious and the portions are large. It looks like they've updated the interior, which is nice. My last order (takeout) included cheese pakora, chicken tikka saag, chicken biryani, vegetable korma, and ginger naan, but honestly you can't go wrong. Pick what sounds good to you.
Food was good. They have options of mild, medium and hot, so you can get accordingly. Loved the Kulfi dessert.
Went for lunch while passing through 'stallis. Got the tandoori chicken and the vindaloo. Had a somosa and pakora as an app. Everything was great. Garlic naan was some of the best I have had, didn't shy away on the garlic. Tandoori was great, not dry, same for the vindaloo. Love these local restaurants vs chains. Service was great as well.
I've been coming to Tandoor ever since I was a kid. I absolutely love this place! The food is great, filling, and staff are wonderful.
We've been to Indian restaurants all across the country. This one is not in a very showy location. The storefront does not look glamorous. But actually the food there was very good. We particularly liked the chicken curry, and the yogurt. The seating and Decor is Pleasant. The staff person was friendly and attentive. As usual, we came for the buffet lunch. I think that everything we tried was quite tasty, with the spices being just about at the right level. They must have an accomplished cook. And the price was great. If you have not tried Indian food, this would be a good place to start.
Fantastic. The closest Indian food to what I had in India. Tikka and paneer were delicious. Huge variety of naan.
Going on the record: it was nummy-nummy-in-my-tummy. Very clean and cute inside. Service was very nice and helpful. Fr tho, why aren’t y’all packing this place—it was so good!
