It was my first experience going to this restaurant. The quality of the food we ordered was satisfying. We ordered 4 different food which were a lot. They are generous with the amount of food. The staff were very welcoming and kind. As I'm a food person I love spicy food, I will go there again for sure
Cafe India offers arguably the best Indian food in Milwaukee. Dishes come out fairly quickly though our server did forget a few items until we reminded her. I particularly like the chana bhatura and seekh kebab. Lots of great vegetarian options and delicious lassis.
Amazing food! Friendly staff! If you’re looking for authenticity this is the place. Cafe India has delicious cuisine whether you’re dining in our getting take out. I love the aesthetic of the restaurant and that they play Indian films also which I love watching! Love dining here and I totally recommend! My personal favorites are the Malabar chicken or the butter chicken and plain naan!
This is my new favorite place. I will be going to this place any time I’m in Milwaukee area.
they do catering, so I am planning to have them for my upcoming events.
Hospitality’s is amazing
Seating is very spacious. Servers are very friendly and nice and knowledgeable
I food is marvelous. finger, licking good, and they will modify the dishes as you want. They can also make some of the non veg dishes as vegetarian using the similar gravy.
my throat was a little scratchy that day, so I asked for masala chai and server made it herself for me. Bijaya is amazing.
They have separate area for Uber eats, GrubHub and DoorDash so the delivery guys are not in between or standing close to the guests tables.
I was so much into food, that i missed taking photos
FAMILY OWNED | HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This place is so amazing and got the best food in Milwaukee area and I would also say Chicagoland.
Great ambiance, fast service. Servers are very friendly and talk to you with a smile. Majority of the items we tried were authentic.
I liked how they had a rose and a balloon on each table for the Mother’s Day.
We ate lot of items
Samosa chaat, gobhi Manchurian, Amritsari kulcha, palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, malai kofta, rasmalai, gulab jamun, paneer haryali.
Everything was really good.
Great food! I got lamb vindaloo when I sat down in the restaurant, and a mango lassi (not pictured.) The vindaloo was tangy and the perfect spice level for me, and the mango lassi was super refreshing. I actually first got Cafe India food through Uber Eats, where they seem to permanently have a BOGO for their vegetable samosas, two per order, and getting four samosas and more than filling enough for one person. Look forward to stopping by again!

We just left Cafe India, and wow is it tasty! It was my first time really indulging in Indian cuisine, and I'm so glad this was where my friend chose!
There are TONS of vegan options which is wonderful my husband and I.
The environment//atmosphere was clean and totally inviting, and Alka our server is top notch. She was patient with our selections and provided great feedback with our questions. ❤️ She is fabulous and friendly!👌
We'll definitely be back!!!
Grandson has been bugging me to go here!
My wife and I took our 3 grandchildren (16, 19 & 22) for dinner.
3 orders of Butter Chicken $16 per, Seekh Kabab $16 w/ Chicken Vegetable Soup $7, Lamb Malabar $17, Naan Basket $9, 2 Naan $2 per, Garlic Naan $4, India beer (22 oz) $10, Mango Lassi (drink) $4 per, 2 Mango Ice Cream $5 per, 2 Rice $2 per, 2 Coffee $4 per, a Soda $3. Total $165+ Tip.
Have to admit... It was worth listening to my Grandson!!
Everything was phenomenal! All totally enjoyed the meal! We were seated in a corner booth and the noise was minimal. The staff came by to check on us and quickly filled any needs! Polite and helpful (we know nothing about Indian dining) explaining what we were ordering .
Of course we will be returning!
We love the food and the mango lassis. We've tried many of the offerings here on the extensive menu and seldom leave disappointed. The colors are warm and inviting and most of the folks running the place are excellent and welcoming. I really love the various warm-colored napkins. Other dishes I love here are Shrimp Malabar, Shrimp Korma, Samosas, Vegi Pakora and Paneer. My partner loves the Tandoori Chicken. The Naan is always excellent.
The portions are great and dinnerware is beautiful. I think it could be set up a little better and I think the TV with videos constantly running could be a little quieter. The back buffet and waiting area can be a bit distracting while trying to have a nice dinner because people walk all the way through the restaurant stand around and wait for deliveries/pickups while communicating with others via phones, etc. When I order for pickup the wait is always at least 20-30 minutes over quoted time.
We will definitely keep coming back because we love the food and people here but there are definitely a few things that could be improved upon just slightly to make a littlebetter use of the space.
