This has become a Milwaukee favorite. Small intimate restaurant. Great food. Love watching the chef 👩🍳 at front of restaurant. Wonderful spot to have drinks and watch the chef work.
Love the ribeye 🥩love the lamb, love the short ribs.... you can’t go wrong at Crazy Water!
This restaurant is wonderful. I ate here with my Father. It was only 5 minutes from our hotel (Days Inn, on 6th and vine). Located downtown Milwukee.
Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the food and wine. She also knew which wine tasted best with which meal, all while still taking into consideration your taste for which wine you liked best ex: if you like red, not white and/or bitter or sweet.
The pricing of the food wasn't cheap, but it also didn't break the bank. The food was amazing.
👏For an appetizer we shared:
'sashimi tuna tacos'
thai peanut slaw, wasabi cream, avocado, ginger. $12.
👏For our meal we actually ordered the same thing. It's one of people's favorites here:
'Alaskan Halibut'
Lemon-parsley crusted Alaskan halibut atop wilted baby spinach, whole grain mustard sauce & frico caldo. $27/plate.
The dining experience was exceptional here! I definitely recommend!
5/5 stars! I have never seen a more well put together a menu. It was so hard to decide what to get, everything looked absolutely delectable. I cannot wait to go back and try more of the menu! The service was fantastic. The ambience is out of this world! Thanks for a great dinner!
Friendly staff and AMAZING food, definitely would recommend!! Tasty wine list and it's cool being able to see into the kitchen!
Pork belly and bread pudding were both really awesome
The perfect restaurant!
The food was superb. We loved everything we ordered, but the bone marrow brulee appetizer was the stand out. Plenty to share.
It's unique and hip. The outdoor seating area was just beautiful. Like eating amazing food in a lovely garden.
The wait staff was fun, gave great recommendations, and truly cared that we enjoyed our evening.
We went at 7:30 on a Thursday night and there was no wait. The outdoor space did get a little dark.
Amazing place. Waiting time was a little long, but we were offered a complementary drink and a appetizer. Staff was great, making sure that everything was great. The food was spectacular. The halibut was fantastic and dessert was out of this world. I will definitely love to come again.
My wife and I were joined by four guests for a very memorable, fun and delicious five course meal recently. The service was stellar and the food was incredible. This was one of the best meals I have ever had and many in my group stated the same. The owner was even in the kitchen much of the evening preparing our food. She clearly takes great pride in her restaurant.
We just love this place. The food is fantastic. There is a bar with a great drink menu.
The atmosphere is very nice.
The kitchen is an open concept and incredibly small, which amazes me everytime we go. That the chef can create such great dishes in such a small space. No fancy equipment or multiple chefs and stations, just one very talented chef.
The food is this place is all super good. Like Grade A, top quality good. For me to give this place 5 stars, the portion sizes and prices would have to be equal, and I'd say the prices surpassed the portions. You do get what you pay for in taste, like I said. Also--and maybe it was the constant opening/closing of the patio door--but we went on a 90-degree day, and it felt like the was no working A/C, so it was uncomfortable. Last thing, the service was great. They're on the cusp of 5 stars.
