Great place for a burger and a(several) beer(s)
I was in the mood for a burger and some day drinking on my day off and I’m glad I found this place.
I got the Big O burger and it was everything I was hoping for. It was a perfect fusion of a burger and Mexican food with the guacamole and the chorizo and the grilled onions. All the flavors worked together phenomenally. Best burger I’ve had so far in Milwaukee in the 16 months I’ve been here.
The beer selection was plentiful and the vibe was good. Very glad I tried Oscars out and I’ll definitely be back.
Sunday during NFL season - surprisingly not as busy I throughly they would be. Have always enjoy the burger here… hand packed. Fresh toppings. Tried the wings and sweet potato fries for the first time.

Relaxed atmosphere, great service, and great food and drinks. We got the nachos, quesadillas, onion rings, and big o burger. Everything was flavorful. The burger was juicy and tender with an awesome combination of toppings. Service was great too! We got there close to closing time, but the staff was still super accommodating and kind. Definitely worth checking out. The value for the price is also amazing. 11/10.
The service here was great. Walked in with a party of 10 and the staff was accommodating and quickly sat us at a large table. There were many customers at the restaurant who were sitting at the bar and watching sports. I ordered the Big O and it was good value. So much food for $10. Burger, fries, and a side of guac. Burger was cooked to order, and was a perfect medium rare. Burger wasn't anything special, but it was a good environment to hang out to enjoy some good food and drinks!
Oscar's is a great MKE burger spot. Some of the best burgers in Milwaukee. The Big O and the gringo are my favorites. Also one of the best values in Milwaukee bar food. The fries are also excellent. I have had Oscar's burgers many times over the years and it's been great every time. I recommend Oscar's to all my burger loving friends.

A great spot for burgers, so of course I got the Cuban sandwich. It’s a nice place to grab drinks and food, though a little loud if it’s full. I’m not the biggest fan of noisy bars, but the food and amazing service made up for that. I thought my sandwich tasted great and the sweet potato fries are on point! Id come back just for those. So crispy yet soft in the middle. I’m hooked. There’s also a decent selection of beer and cider on tap.
Come for the food and stay longer for the drinks!!! One of the best burgers in the 414, no question along with a great tap beer selection! They were busy yet the food came out fast and bartender was attentive. This place is hustling, the servers must burn many calories! Only complaint (which isn’t really that big of a deal) was the TVs were all playing the same thing.
The reputation has a solid foundation. Eat here. The Big O is as epic as you’ve heard. Not to be overlooked are the fries. They’re so good you can eat them naked. I’m not suggesting you take your clothes off, just that they need no dipping sauce (hey if you want to strip that’s your prerogative!).
The prices are really good and the portion sizes are huge! Their homemade fries are delicious.
