Service was great and place is pretty. Don't miss out trying the grilled octopus (appetizer), lomo saltado and tallarines verdes with lomo. Salmon was just okay. Desserts were very good! Drinks are very good and flavory. I would recommend start with the drinks rather than drink with food, since they are too strong to drink while eating.
La Estación in Central Fare second floor Mezzanine level is awesome. This restaurant was recommended by a co-worker and the fish and chips were a 10 star plus. I do have to agree with service being a little slow, but food is obviously cooked when ordered. I will definitely go back to try their pastas.
I went there for lunch today 12/23/2019 and they had the 3 course meal for $23. I had Appetizer Fried Calamari, Entree Fish Tacos, Dessert Dark Chocolate Berries Tart. Everything was awesome and for a reasonable price.
I was on my daily lunchtime walk when I decided to check out Central Fare at the Virgin Miami Central Station.
Hip, cool, elegant yet casual feel, the place is divided into smaller squares that make it have a comfy feel. I should point out that this is a sit down restaurant and not an outside eatery (for lack of a better term).
Menu has a good selection of world cuisine like pastas, burgers, salads and more.
Service was friendly, and prompt. I know I avoided the lunch crowd by showing up earlier than normal, but that's a good thing!
I ordered their deviled eggs as an appetizer. 2 hard boiled eggs that had been cut in half and filled with a creamy paste came out. In between each half was a very thinly sliced piece of bread that was very delicious (I'm not a big bread eater but I found the piece of bread really satisfying). The eggs also had small portions of arugula (I think) between them that also tasted delicious thanks to the dressing that had been poured. The eggs were tasty and satisfying.
I then ordered a croque monsieur. That is a sandwich that has baked or boiled ham and cheese. It is a variant of the croque madame (this one is topped with a fried egg). The sandwich came with thinly sliced fries which were yummy! When the plate came out, I was expecting the whole sandwich on the plate and was pleasantly surprised that it had been cut into 4 "strip" and the chef had created a unique presentation for it.
Ooh! I ordered a lemonade and that thing was GOOOOD! Specially towards the end, when it had had time to get really cool.
Next time I go, I will try their lunch specials instead of ordering a la carte.
Pleasantly surprised how good the lunch was today. Was not expect those flavors, great survive and fun decor. Love this place.

Great food and service right here at Miami Central. Happy hour from 4-7. Hope they would consider to start opening on the weekends .
This place mainly exists as a bar if I had to be honest lol, for the brightline station and its offices in the Miami Central building.
Very nice location and great food.. Satisfied the eyes and stomach
Fuimos a comer a las 3.30pm. Cuando llegamos nos explicaron que por la hora había cosas de la carta que no se podían pedir. A pesar de ello todo lo que pedimos estaba muy rico. Muy recomendable!
