I tried the "I Love Lucy" roll to go. I took it home and found it to be Outstanding!!! My family had to fight me to taste it. I will be back.
Cool little Japanese/ Thai restaurant on Kendall near 137th, right by the Publix. The place is rather nice inside and they have a sushi bar as well as teppanyaki. Being that it is the sister restaurant to Bangkok City, the menus are near identical.
I got the Duck Basil because I just had to compare it with the Bangkok City Version. Not many differences, but it was pricier, more saucy, and limited rice. The Duck meat was good. The skin was still crisp and the sauce still flavourful. There were a lot more veggies, which is a plus for most. The friends for sushi and volcano chicken and both looked pretty decent as well.
The service was about slow but nice nonetheless. The place had got several TV's so you can watch any game that's on. It also gets really packed at night and we went fairly large so I can only imagine their busier nights.
The scallops were delicious. Cooked to perfection and the portions were quite generous.
Great. Food and service.
a very sound restaurant.
Im satisfied everytime I go
Try the I Love Lucy roll.
Love it. I've been eating here for many years & I have yet to be disappointed. The food is always great, whether you get sushi or their Thai dishes. I love the red curry chicken & the kamikazi roll.
This is a very nice place, good service, and food is ready quickly. I prefer the sushi side, where its dishes taste fresh and made great. You should try the kanisu rolls as an appetizer, very fresh dish to start with.
Consider me a regular. A friend turned me onto this unexpected little gem. Good food, great service and an elusive neighborhood experience that is more and more difficult to find in Kendall. My suggestions: Sit at the bar, order a large saki and ask for recommendations. The sushi chefs are talented, relaxed and good sports. They've yet to let me down.
Good experience. This was a very good dining experience. We decided to go for Teppanyakki. We didn't have to wait for more than 5 minutes to be seated.
The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. In less than 10 minutes orders were taken, drinks, soups and salads were served, all in an orderly and proper fashion.
The hibacchi chef was cordial and very entertaining, giving attention to every person on the table.
The food was very good and well prepared with a well balanced mix of seasonings. The portions were generous enough, that at the end of the night we couldn't go for dessert .
We will come back soon!!!
This experience was on a Saturday night around 7:30 pm
My First Review of a Steakhouse.... I will definately be going back. The food here is unbelievably good. It's impossible that there isn't something here that you wouldn't absolutely love.
I been coming here for the last 18 years and the food is first class!
Favorite Appetizers: edamame, Sashimi
Favorite sushi : Yabaha Roll, Jb roll
Teppanyaki : everything is good
The food is always good and the ambiance is very pleasant and the service is 5 Starts all the guys are great.
An authentic Japanese restaurant that offers delicious wide variety of food and superb service. You have the option to do hibachi. Sushi is fantastic and fresh. Owner walks around and works as hard as his employees. Be sure to check out his wife's restaurant Bangkok City Thai & Sushi.
Always exceptional service and food! The prices for the amount of food is also great. We always have a great time coming here and look forward to our next visit!
Super delicious and everyone that served us was great! We shared hibachi, steak and shrimp. The I love Lucy sushi roll was yummy! The clear soup and the miso soup was very good and my favorite ginger dressing on a small salad was delicious. Kudos to Cedrick, our chef for making my husband laugh! And they had a fish tank with the cutest baby starfish. ❤️
We love Ruson. We come a few times a year for birthdays and other special occasions. They always put on a good show & the food is amazing. I've never had a bad experience here!
I took the family to Ruson to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were promptly greeted and we were seated immediately since we chose an individual table instead of the 'cooking' table where the chef prepares the food in front of you. Our server was very professional and patient with us and made some great recommendations. The food was well prepared and served quickly. My medium rare teriyaki steak was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere and delicious food. We all had a good time.
I’ve been coming to ruson for over 10 years outstanding sushi and even better service by literally everyone you talk to specially jimmy ! They remodeled it and it looks amazing and even added this new boba omg amazing you need to try !

I really enjoyed my wonton soup and dinner. It was delicious and fresh.
I ordered vegetables, rice, chicken, shrimp and filet mignon.
I will be returning, our waiter was amazing. Always had my refill without asking.
I love this restaurant, for me, it is the best sushi in Miami 🍣🍤😍
Great attentive service. In the area, I feel this is the most authentic style. The food art is on point, and the little extra that adds to the experience
