Great food. This is a one meal day restaurant. Meaning the portions are huge and the food so tasty it is hard to stop eating until all the food from each plate is gone. The service is excellent and the entire staff welcoming and friendly. The wait time is worth it especially on Sundays when they have live music and these two guys are awesome. They play everything from the 60's and 70's. The restaurant serves complimentary coffee and the best fresh squeezed lemonade ever. Once you are seated, the incredibly friendly, professional staff immediately remembers what we had to drink from the previous weekend. They make all of the patrons feel more like family. The blueberry pancakes are to die for. They literally melt in your mouth. Plus real maple syrup is a great touch. I ordered bacon asking the waitress to burn the bacon meaning, crispy with no grease. She looked at me smiled and said, I've got it doll, you want your bacon Wally'ed. Ahh, yeah okay. Now i understand she was referencing the owner. The bacon was cooked to perfection. Best scrambled eggs anywhere, scrambled soft.one scrambled egg was more like 3 eggs. Perfection. Bring a huge appetite the servings are no joke. Breakfast was my only meal over the weekend. Incredibly delicious and filling. We have started to alternate our weekend breakfast dates and/or family brunch between our now two favorite breakfast locations. Lots of Lox and Wagons West. You wont be disappointed. Bon appetite' Enjoy!
The best breakfast in Miami ... best pancakes
..... best waffles ..,,,. best omelettes ..... best potatoes
..... real maple. A "hole in the wall" with perhaps a dozen tables, there are lines to get in for breakfast - for a reason - great food. Breakfast & lunch items are their forté. Dinner specials are offered. I read the post about corned beef & cabbage It is extremely difficult to find an excellent one in Miami, which is best sought at a Deli or quality Irish pub. For breakfast, Wagons West serves the best in Miami.
Wagon’s West has been around forever. It’s small inside, it has booths, high top seating at the bar, and on weekends sometimes there is a band outside where you can listen while you wait for a table. The food is a solid B+ diner food. The staff are great, the servers work hard, we’ve been going forever and enjoy it. We will be back. 👏👍❤️
Everything one would expect in an old style diner atmosphere with a welcome feeling. Food was delicious but definitely calorie heavy. Service was quick and friendly. If you're up for an old style, truly American breakfast, this is the place.
We love to find little places like this one. Small restaurant but full in flavors. We were welcomed right away by our waitress, service in general is pretty quick. Delicious French toast, biscuits with sausage gravy and a simply yet yummy classic 2 eggs and sausage. Everything was great, lots of people for a Thursday morning. Prices are very generous, we spent $50 plus tip on a huge order for two that we couldn’t even finish. Coming back soon for lunch. Thank you 🙏🏻 🥞🍳
I went here for lunch. The food was pretty good. The crab cakes were decent. bacon is hard to mess up. The steak was juicy. The eggs and grits tasted well. The menu (back and front) is pictured. Things got a little distant with the employees once I was about to check out. Anyway the food was diner quality , but a little higher price.
Best diner around! Overall Amazing! Reasonably priced for huge portions and extremely consistent day in and day out! Highly Recommend!!!
I always order the egg, cheese, bacon on a croissant or an English muffin. My boyfriend orders something different each time and they never disappoint.
Best breakfast thus far in Miami FL. Great service. The French toast is my go to whenever I'm in the city and everything is cooked to order. I always customize my order with cheese grits and eggs. Definitely a place to go my yourself or with your family.
The food was very good. Great service, very attentive to our needs and our waitress even assisted as far as recommending not ordering a lot of food due to the portion size. It was very nice of her. I ordered half a French toast with scrambled eggs and smoked sausage. It was good, comfort food for sure and very tasty. I would definitely return!
From outside you won’t know the vibe of this place. I really liked the how it’s decorated inside. It’s really looks like old west restaurant. Staffs were very nice. They are always engaging with you if you need anything. They seem very knowledgeable of their menu. I think the price for waffle was bit high but I can’t complain about crab cake Florentine. It was very good.
A warm, country styled restaurant that serves a hearty breakfast. I like coming here as a local because the employees are friendly with smiling faces. I loved my Eggs Benedict with a hot cup of coffee and its something I recommend if you visit. It can quickly fill up on weekend mornings, so be aware. Overall, I rated this place a five. The only suggestion would give is to widen the booths because they do feel tight. Its a small place but a welcoming environment.
Take a trip into the 70’s, Like entering a time capsule. The best part is that the food is just as good as if it were the 70’s in East Kendall! Nothing has changed, never remodeled.
If a good Ol’ American breakfast spot is what you crave, this spot will impress your tastebuds and your guests!
Chocolate chip pancakes and eggs Benedict the way American families meant for them to be served. 🥳
Enjoy!
