I can’t decide which dish is my fave, the kabab is always cooked to perfection and the countless vegetarian options makes you feel like this is heaven on earth, and let’s not forget the Ashta dessert drizzled with sweet rose syrup and topped with pistachios��
It’s my all times to go to when I’m in town, I even order a party size stuffed meat grape leaves to take with me when I leave out of town. Thank you Hummus and more for making my favorite dishes and for always greeting me with love and smiles.
Straight up- this place is phenomenal. I’ve been eating at alabasha for quite sometime. Usually once a week. Well I went today to grab my usual plate and when I walked in the dude was like we closed. So my girl told me to try Hummus and more which is right down the street. I pass this place daily and never thought to try it. Well I got the combination plate with the shawarma and gyro and my god was is it good. Everything was hot, meat was nice and tender. Great flavor and the hummus was amazing too. Needless to say, I wish I would have known about this place all along because I feel robbed for eating at alabasha. I’m hooked and will be back again and again
It is a very Cozy and Delicious Mediterranean place to dine in or take out. They are friendly and very helpful with explaining the menu. I have ordered the Beef with Vegetables and Hummus it also comes with pita bread. I have tried the Hummus three different ways. Regular, with the roma tomatoes, garlic, and olives, and just the Roma tomatoes and garlic. I prefer it with just the Roma tomatoes and garlic. You can omit what you don't want because it also comes with feta cheese and I don't get that at all. You do get what you pay for. I have also tried the Lentil soup both ways and they are both tasty. I was skeptical at first because one comes with spinach and the other one was pureed. I must say I was shocked.
I ordered the chicken shawarma plate which is usually my go to meal at Mediterranean restaurants. The chicken shawarma here was some of the best I've had. It was seasoned well, and it was moist. Some restaurants have dried out chicken shawarma. The rice pilaf and salad was also delicious and fresh.
The bus boy Alex was also amazing! He would make an excellent waiter! He has a wonderful personality, and a great attitude for customer service! We really enjoyed him!
my GO-TO lunch or early dinner spot. Very friendly staff and always excellent food. Fast most of the time unless they are super busy.
I have had several client and networking meetings at Hummus and More. It is never loud and easy to focus on the conversation. I love the hummus and more - naturally. Their cauliflower appetizer is not to be missed. My favorite main dish is the Lamb Kabobs. Lunch or Dinner - always a good choice.
Lovely restaurant, I tried Mediterranean food for the first time and I am hooked. This is much better place to eat than any chain. The staff was warm welcoming and the food was fantastic. The baklava and the Turkish coffee are must have at the end of the meal.
Awesome family run restaurant. Damn good gyro meat and I've only had this good of hummus overseas.
This place is our for ever place to eat at whenever we are at Nola. Best Mediterranean restaurant in the whole area. Hands down for the service and the atmosphere. Everything was super great. Thank you for having us today and make everyone satisfied and happy!
Choose this place over Casablanca . The Ledneh was excellent and the meals were tasty BUT the Greek salads were too salty.
The pita bread was soft and warm. The Lamb over the Salty salad was very good at all.
5 Stars if the salad was not salty. My side salad was salty as well. Both Greek.
Started with FOUR STAR. They close at 9 pm. At 857 a lady started sweeping in the dining room and turned the lights on as were half way through dinner. AMBIANCE GONE.
Ok. owners/chef came out to the table. He addresses our issues and we talked saying WE WOULD COME BACK.
This almost never happens, as most owners are not around, so we appreciate what he said and did.
I love to support FAMILY OWNED RESTAURANTS SUCH AS THIS ONE.
Look forward to trying something else on menu.

The food was good. The fried cheese was very good. My children love hummus, but the didnt like the hummus. The wraps were tasty.
