Loved everything I tried.
Home cooking. Grandma's Kitchen is a true family operation with Grandma in the kitchen and Grandpa at the counter. It is just good old fashion home cooking with good size portions, fresh ingredients, and quick service. We loved the chicken fried steak and meat loaf but the two homemade soups we tried were excellent. Breakfast biscuits and gravy and the omelets are great. Just a small hole in the wall but don't get in too much of a hurry. Take time to banter a bit with Grandma, a sweet lady with a little grit, just like my Grandma.
To dawnsteve2: you are a rude person! We have been nothing but nice to the elderly and no we are not racist! Sorry about your bad experience, but I remember you and you were the one who was very irrational! And you told us you were gonna burn us on the internet! But there are ppl out there who know better! Keep your comments to yourself! If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything! You were treated as you acted!
It was suggested that we stop here for lunch. We always try to find locally owned restaurants and I must say it was delicious as well as friendly.
Great Food, Great Prices, Great Service, A+. Had lunch here yesterday (well breakfast for lunch anyways). Great food, lots of options. I'm gluten intolerant, and there wasn't much for my choices for lunch...although they did have a lean hamburger option with fruit and cottage cheese (always love seeing those options on the menu!). I had breakfast instead. Sausage and eggs, and these great homestyle potatoes. Have to say it reminded me of home! Would def go here again. Recommend it to anyone that wants good food for a good price.
We had brunch here. The food was good. They did a good job trying to social distance everyone. They had clear curtains up dividing tables. The service could have been better but wasn't bad. She was friendly but not too attentive. We waited 41 minutes for our food but we weren't in a rush so it was okay.
Such a cute place! My wife and I have been very cautious about what places we eat at during the pandemic, but we were unfamiliar with the area and thought we’d give it a shot. We decided we would see what the set up looked like before we chose done in it takeout. So needless to say we were shocked at how well the waitress and her husband had the dining area set up!! We felt so comfortable inside, because of their store precautions and ability to still make it feel normal and homey!
100% would recommend. On the pricier side, but it’s local, made fresh, and big servings. I recommend the fresh orange juice 💯
I will say my wife and I had a decent experience here. The food was awesome, I ordered the 3 meat omelette & was surprised it was stuffed.
My only complaint was I was a bit confused on where things were but that’s nothing to be upset about. Friendly nice experience.
Wow, what a great experience. The food was top quality and had tons of flavor! The Pineapple Upside Down cake was AMAZING! It was fresh out of the oven and I couldn't get enough! Come here and be amazed for sure!
Food came hot and was good. Service was good. Place hard to see from street set back in stripmall. Place needs better signage to attract more business . The cost was a bit high and may scare some people away.
Food and service was amazing! The staff is very cautious and the restaurant is clean. They even have two tables that you can close plastic curtains around them for extra safety! This was my first time eating at Grandma's Kitchen and the food was SO good I will definitely be back!!!

There is endless commentary here! It is rare that I find a place I can call 'home'. Finally a 'tearoom' similar to the ones I grew up in. Finally a licensed chef who knows how to make an omlette, with fresh spinach, mushrooms, bacon and cheese. Wow! Do you know how hard this is to find in this 'Valley of Little Culture'? I have found my new 'place'. ❤
My wife and I agree that the food is outstanding! Simple homemade recipes are elevated by a classically trained chef. The staff (the chef's wife) is very nice and attentive. I will be back there!
I went to this place for breakfast and then for lunch before posting this review. Though the service isn’t as fast as say, Denny’s, or IHOP, the food is comes out and tastes like it was made with love. FREAKING DELICIOUS.
If you go for breakfast, their home style potato’s and their pancakes are a must try, and if you go for lunch, you’ve got to try their homemade kettle chips.
I’ll be coming there a lot, that’s for sure!
The staff was so friendly and this is the cutest little place. The food was great and I highly recommend the giant iced coffee. The ice cubes are frozen coffee so it doesn't get watered down. I look forward to returning in the near future.
