Parking lot is shared with other business, however there is enough. The restaurant is in the very corner of the plaza.
There is only a few tables for indoor seating I was here for lunch and it was not as busy. The play music in the background and they have small TV showing pictures of El Salvador. The decor and paintings are cool. I didn’t like that to get to the bathroom you have to cross the kitchen but the good thing is that they have bathroom.
The prices are much better than food trucks. I got the chicharrón ( pork) pupusa it was good. This place has a faster service than other Salvadoreño Restaurants. The customer is good but less friendly than other Salvadoreño Restaurants. I asked what the square bread at the counter was the girl said it was a “ quesadilla” it looked to me more like a cornbread. Quesadilla is queso inside a tortilla hence the name.
Delicious food!! I love the caldo de pollo it’s chicken, fried and a vegetable soup. Ask for rice. I had the carne asada Puppusas. I highly recommend you stop by and bring your date it’s delicious!!
This was my first time trying pupusas!! I knew they were like gorditas but I can taste the difference. I enjoyed them very much and the service was good! Congratulations on 20 years!! Ill be back to try other vegetarian options :)
I love this place! I order from them every time I put on a big event and people always ask where it came from! The only thing we ever have left over is beans...everything else gets devoured immediately. Next time I'll order more plantains and only one tray of beans.
Never eaten here so I thought this would be a good place to meet some friends & try a new spot. This location is off Mesa Dr. & Southern on the SW corner. I accidentally went to the location that was east of this location. Had no idea there was more than one location. Anyway once I arrived I noticed that it was small restaurant with about 10 tables. We ordered multiple things, I ordered 2 pupusas 1 chicken & cheese and the 2nd one was just cheese. Since I'm Colombian we also ordered yucca & sweet plantains and we shared amongst all 3 of us. The sweet platains were cooked just right and the yucca was super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, also cooked to perfection. We received plenty and even had left overs to take home . The 2 pupusas that I had were delicious. I was only able to eat 1.5 and saved the rest for left overs. Both were filling and super tasty. I definitely would come back and eat here again. The food was great, service was quick, and it was inexpensive.
This has been a repeat restaurant for me especially for the Pupusas. They have a 15 pupusas for 33$ to-go offer which is great. And they have about 17 varieties of stuffings so you can basically try one of each. I still need to try other Salvadoran restaurants for a frame of reference but me and my wife's taste buds are pretty happy with the place. Plus they have vegan and gluten free options.
Delicious Pupusas, good service and nise mood after 😁
This was my first time here and it did not disappoint! Delicious and unique vegan options with tons of flavor!
The pupusas I've had in a long time. So good, friendly customer service, all in all a great place for comida salvadoreño
Every time I put on a big event, I place an order from them, and people always inquire where it originated from! Beans are the only thing we ever have leftover; everything else is gobbled up right away. The following time, I'll only order one tray of beans and additional plantains.
