Move over Great wall, you have been dethroned as my to go place for dim sum! The quality of the dishes is fantastic and you can tell the shumai are hand made and packed with deliciousness. The taste was superb and no fillers, no game taste duck.. besides of the cost, this was the best dim sum I had so far. I will definitely come back again!! Yumm!!
Our first time to the place, it was across the street from Korean H Mart. Located in Mesa, AZ. We were there ten minutes before they opened on Black Friday. Food was good except I gave a 4 star for service because we have to wait for the dim sum cart to come around and there’s just 2 carts serving around the dining room.
There’s also a Chinese market within the plaza, a few small Chinese stalls in the food court before entering to the dim sum place.
My wife and I have been searching for a really nice dim sum restaurant. We have been to several around the valley and this one is pretty good. Lots of different choices of dim sum, very fresh, very tasty. We will definitely be returning to try out other dishes as well as some of the other restaurants in this plaza.
9/9/23- picked 2 dishes from the board (off menu seasonal specials). Taste good 👍
9/3/23-So far the best dim sum in town. Food is good
Spacious dining area handling the crowd.
This place is a nice surprise for us trying out their dim sum. We are from California where we are spoiled with great Chinese foods specially dim sum. We didn't have high expectations coming to this restaurant but their food is great. The chicken feet are better than most of the popular dim sum in California. Plenty of parking spaces. It's very popular with the locals so expecting long waiting if you are there during lunch or dinner time. It's a handicap friendly facility.
The Ginger and Scallion Dungeness Crab is so tasty. They never fail creating this delectable traditional dish. I love that they have a few dim sum selections during dinner time as well. This place is very popular for families, so be patient, especially during the weekends. Enjoy!
My new favorite dim sum place in Arizona. It’s located inside Mekong Plaza. There are plenty of parking space. The restaurant zoned out part of their foodcourt, so it didn’t look like a complete restaurant. The restaurant serves alcoholic beverage. Dim sum is available until 3 pm.
I would recommend anyone to order their roasted duck, pork ribs, and shun Mai.
Their shrimp dumpling (har gaw) wrap was a bit too thick.
I enjoyed the experience! I didn't know the name of the meals, but I trusted my eyes! Food is good!!
We went for dinner and decided to stay since it wasn't busy. It was around 7 on weeknight and empty. The service was excellent and we all enjoyed the various dumplings. Bring a group because you'll want to try everything! Highlights include the Soup Dumplings and the Crispy House Noodles. We ordered a lot and spent $25 per person- 4 total.
Went on a Sunday at noon time. Expansive dim sum options and can ask for the full menu. Getting a waiter/waitress can be difficult so exercise your patience. I thought the food could be kicked up a notch like the black bean spare ribs seemed to lack depth in flavor. The baked BBQ pork bun didn't have much filling but I thought the bun tasted good. Chinese broccoli texture was good. Oyster sauce is quite salty. Eat with rice. Fried sticky rice was good -- has Chinese sausage in it -- not BBQ pork. The soy sauce stuff on the beef pancake was very watery. But I ate it all while I was there so obviously I didn't think it was too bad 😉 it was a little pricey in my opinion. I'd go again to try the pan fried noodles or chow fun.
